Noodle. Stick a 4 oz pencil weight, small cut- lengthwise in one side it. It will not only stop it from blowing way It stops it from untangling while rolling around.

Hi Brad, Would you comment to the rod and reel and line combination that works for this river fishing? Maybe a little more with a picture of the tackle set up.? Thanks
@thefisherbrad3 жыл бұрын
I use a Heavy action 6 foot 6 inch rod, for line I’m running 40lb big game mono on a okuma xlt reel. It’s a special rod sold at andersons pro bait. You can pick up the exact combo at andersons pro bait all lined up for the wall for about 100$ I believe

Fisher Brad, great video. Question what kind of Rod can handle those two pound weights? Would like to know brand, approx cost, Where you purchased them
@thefisherbrad2 жыл бұрын
I use Anderson pro bait custom rods made for the wall. They are located close to porthuron. You can buy the rod for 40$ or the hole combo lined and ready to go for 100$ to do this exact fishing.

On the other vid’s the directions for the rig setup is not very clear, thanks in advance👍👍👍

What's a good all around tackle set up for walleye and pike? Rod, reel, line, leader, etc.?
@thefisherbrad4 жыл бұрын
For pike I rock out a medium action rod with 30 lb braid, you can see a great video I made called “top 5 best pike lures” to see exactly what I recommend in action on some biggg pike! Walleye is different depending on how you plan to fish for them I have a variety of videos showing you how to whip, jig, and still fish for walleye! I got about 8 walleye vids so scroll through the channel to see some of the great videos I made demonstrating different methods from shore
