How come I don't see registration numbers on your boat? I thought all states require you to register and number your boat if you're using a powered motor.

State laws can vary from 1 state to the next. Out west I was not required by law to register my SE-9 where as here in the Ozarks I'm required to.

How puncture resistant is the inflated chambers? Many fishes I target have serious fins.

People say they brought there dog on it. I've seen it hit with the back side of a axe and it bounces off. I've looking at these for the past month and so far it's looking like the best inflatable on the market

Great info about sea eagle watercraft. This guy may know about boats but he has no idea how to fly cast. My shoulder hurts just watching. Can you say torn rotator cuff.

Man, like a lot about this raft, but...that oar extension arm looks incredibly flimsy. Take that down a modest river and bonk a rock with an oar, and snap that arm, it's floating down sh_t creek without a paddle...

so I have a 285 but have not yet used it,, I share the same concerns about the strength of the oar lock,, and even though I have seen vids, I agree that something that can prfoem in cals water may be in trouble in more serious water, so I will find out and get back to ya if and when I use it and know first hand
