The painting on the sideboard in your new studio is giving off Vita Sackville-West vibes. Loved the tour of the flower farm in Godalming. I like how you highlight other growers.

Another stunning video Georgie, all the very best to these new farmers. We are looking forward to seeing what influence they have on you floral arrangements. You know were to go when you are short, good luck with the Celosia germination. Thanks for sharing.

So Inspiring. Thanks for sharing. I am in Lincoln Nebraska USA. This year I'm using a "Yarden" for 5 subscriptions, some weekly arrangements for the Co-op Grocery store I work at, and the occasional "ask"... Tomorrow morning I am going to cut 150 flowers for my first email request for flowers that the client wants to use to mingle with their own flowers to make arrangements for her friends Celebration of Life. She told me she wants to use my flowers because A. she just has a shade garden and B. she finds my flowers "joyus". I am humbled with gratitude. I just thought I'd spout off on what I am doing... as a "flower person" that enjoys and gets excited by your vids. ~Lori Allison of Empower Me Flower Bouquets and Handmades established 2022.

Brilliant video, oh boy that’s some progress she has made. What a credit to her and her team. Wonderful that it shows a horticultural enterprise can thrive again and supply London and surrounding areas. Hats off ! Thank you for sharing.

I have self watering system in my garden, it waters 3 days a week, it has his own small computer where you can put how much water will go, on which day etc. this is really popular where I live, I also collect a rain water..

Ive heard those drip systems of watering are very cheap and easy to install nowadays. And its a much more efficient way of watering thsn splashing water around from a hose or can.
@theflowerfarmer4 ай бұрын
they can need a bit of flushing - and in the uk need to be used with a header tank not direct from the mains to prevent suck back of dirty water into the system x

@@theflowerfarmer I didn't know that,thanks for info,not that I'd ever need one,I watch Laura in USA and she uses them all over the place but her set up is really a "professional" garden,home + job. I must admit I'm not a fan of USA in a political sense ,but I won't go there but there is something entrancing how for any little niggle they'll invent or develop something to deal with it,like you want to grow that plant that grows six feet high and wide in your tiny backyard,they breed a version of it that stays at six inches! And is still lovely ! That 'can do' view of life I guess.

It seems to put a new flower farm on a sandy soil that isn't good for most of the plants they want to grow.

lol - she knows how much mulching she’s going to have to do to improve soil - and it’s really demonstrably working in her mulched v not yet mulched beds of same varieties - Caroline is no fool and soil health will be her priority. Problem with land is the £££ so we all have to compromise a bit - I grow on soggy clay also not ideal but elbow grease keeps the soil workable - mulch mulch and more mulch whatever your soil conditions x
