I don't know why everyone is wanting all young players to come in. If we buy all young players from different league and made them play together it will 100% fail. Young team should be brought up from academy to perform and challenge establish players like Ajax doing it now, Barcelona did it in mid 2000, Manchester United did it in early 90's. So, my point is we can bring few young players but we need at least 3 established players. For me to strength the club we need minimum of 6 signings this summer. Players like Sanchez, Lukaku, Lingard, Martial, Matic, Young, Rojo, Darmian, Mata, Herrera, Jones, Smalling, Pogba should be sold this summer to make some budget to bring in new players. And I think players we need to consider are Hazard, Eriksen, Rabiot, Griezmann, Koulibaly, De Ligt, Varane, Wan Bissaka, Felix, Neves, Gundogan, Kante, Saul. Players like Hazard, Kante, Gundogan and also De Bruyne aren't happy in their club now so proper negotiations can possibly bring these top players at United. At least if we could manage to get mix of some established and some young players like Hazard, Eriksen, Koulibaly, De Ligt, Neves, Felix and Wan Bissaka plus (Rabiot - as he is a free transfer :P ) I think we will be able to give a fight to top teams next season. But by getting 2 or 3 signing we will remain in same place.

Why not sign Koulibaly AND Alderweireld, seems like the logical choice. I'd definitely go for Saúl no matter what, but I'd also get an experienced RB, apparently Meunier could be available for cheap. And I'd pick a cheaper option like Florian Thauvin for the RW. If there's any money left I'd try to sign a better CDM, someone like Ruben Neves, Doucoure, Ndidi, etc.

So for me, I would sign one CB: Koulibaly (27yrs), one RB: Wan-Bissaka (21yrs), one CDM: Rice (20yrs), one CM: Bruno Fernandes (24yrs), and one RM/RAM/RW: Christian Eriksen (27yrs). These players will add steel, creativity, defensive solidity and goals. We have some of the most exciting young forwards and wingers in football with Rashford, Martial, Chong, Greenwood, Gomes, why stunt their progress by signing another young forward/winger like Sancho? Imagine: 4-3-3: DDG; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Koulibaly, Shaw; Fernandes, Rice, Pogba; Eriksen, Rashford, Martial. Bench: Romero, Smalling, Dalot, Mctominay, Fred, Lingard, Lukaku. Reserves: Grant, Pereira (GK), Jones, Tuanzebe, Fosu-Mensah, Young, Pereira, Garner, Matic, Gomes, Chong, Greenwood. This squad, with only a few small tweaks over the next few windows, could dominate English and European football again for the next half a decade!

Lindelof is a ball playing Centre Back and so is Koulibaly if we get him (so are Alderweireld and Maguire who were mentioned) therefore there's no need of playing 3 at the back by signing two Centre Backs, instead we need a Right Back for which we should go for maybe Wan-Bissaka or Meunier. Plus I'm quite sure De Ligt is going to Barça anyway. As for Midfield I think we need more control and better build up play and Ruben Neves is absolutely perfect for that, he can be like Carrick for us bringing both defensive cover and distribution in Midfield. He should be paired with an energetic Box-to-box Midfielder and I would pick Rabiot, especially more so than other options because he's available on a free and we still need to spend on a Right Winger. As for Right Wing I'd be happy with either Sancho or Bale, another good option better that Lozano is Nicolas Pepe whom we can argue might even be a better option than Sancho or Bale. Either way, if we get these players in the team would be transformed straight away and possibly challenge City and Liverpool for the top spot.

We NEED to show we are dangerous, this season and previous seasons we look lack lustre and vulnerable all over the pitch, this is what we need to do ; Centre back: koulibaly £80 million or Varane £100 million Yes a lot of money but we NEED reassurance at the back, look how Virgil turned out you pay the money it pays off ( no pun intended ) Linderlof has the potential to make a good defender but needs the power or leader next to him. With Valencia leaving we have 1 Right Back we need back up in this position; Wan bissaka £40 mil or Thomas muenier £30 mill If we are looking at potential then wan bissaka is perfect but he is a similar age to Dalot so they would offer good competition for the spot and we can choose between 2 good fullbacks on who trains better, the old United way having multiple talents battling for a spot. Midfield has been inconsistent this season with us making pogba matic and Herrera our most played, Herrera is on the way out and matic isn’t performing as a United title winning player we need 1 or 2 midfielders if we want to win that’s including our squad midfielders such as, mctomminey and Fred trying to get a spot; Ruben neves £40-50 mil, Bruno fernandes £65 mil Ruben has proven himself as a quality defensive midfielder this season as well as having a eye for goal, he has an interception to goal stat of 2 more then any other United player apart from Herrera he would replace matic and offer a little more pace in the position. Bruno Fernandes look like one of the brightest talents in football atm and is tearing up the Portuguese league... yes it’s the Portuguese league but he has shown his passing and finishing abilities is miles above most of Man Utd’s other midfielders, he can play a CM role and offer a much needed quality going forward finding the pass others can’t, he would sit slightly in front of pogba and neves would lock down the area in front of the defence. We have serious talent in attack but need consistency, for many years we have needed a Right winger; Lozano £30 mil Lozano would be perfect and 1/3 of the price of sancho, he offers pace and crucial finishing, with 16 goals and 9assist this season he would be perfect for the premier league and help United complete a deadly team who could easily win the 2020 title We would sell Jones, young, darmian, Herrera, pereira = 50 million We also receive some big players back from loan, forsu-Mensa got some very important league experience and could offer a RB or CB depth and tuanzebe had a very successful loan spell performing well under Aston Villa and could easily become a big defender for United De gea Wan bissaka, koulibaly, linderlof, shaw Neves Pogba Fernandes Lozano, rashford, martial Bench: Romero, tuanzebe, forsu-Mensa, dalot, Fred, mctomminey, Chong, lukaku, Greenwood Not that hard United open the pockets and we will win Max 300million

I think United could get away with signing just one midfielder who should be Ndidi as we need someone to win the ball and get it forward and give it to pogba. Ndidi just like last season has the most tackles in the league and I think mctominay could earn a starting position and they could form a solid base. Pogba could play attacking midfielder ahead of them or as a left attacking midfielder in a 4222 with the right attacking midfielder being someone like Ziyech from Ajax who is a creative attacking midfielder who can also contribute defensively and play as a right winger and even centre midfielder. However I would sign a box to box midfielder also as pogba is the only one we have and u need two of them to play a three man midfield and for more quality, cover and change of systems.

I disagree about Smalling-he is a ball watcher-the two games against Wolves were a perfect example of this- also he panics and either kicks or heads the ball out to opposition players-you will always get punished for this against any half decent side-we don`t seem to have any players who are capable of playing the pass the ball from the back system and will continue to struggle until we get defenders who can play that way.
