Maatsen wants to leave, him and his dad put out a statement saying so last season. This isn’t the hierarchy’s fault. Pochettino is the one who told him he would get a fair chance and then benched him for half the season. That led to him wanting to leave. This whole conversation is nonsense without that context. Maatsen dad was openly insulting the club in the media so i think the relationship between the player and the club is already sour. I think he's a talented player but in my opinion we need a lil more taller players. We are not the biggest. And many at times teams have targeted our LB as a week link coz neither chilwell nor cucurella are physically big/strong

I actually done mind Arsenal buying injury prone players. As long as they’re only injured 2-4 months. They would reduce first team players game participation tally by at least 10-15 appearances, that’s plenty. At least we won’t have a strong bench that is never injured, then they’re complain of not playing. At least the injuries will be an excuse not to play them. Again, we only need squad players for 10-15 games.
