Nico Williams Jr just announced himself on the world stage against Italy - his release clause is a must!! He’s got everything that Martinelli has, but what actually might give him the edge over Gabi is his creative ability when he gets to the final third and beats his man. So often Martinelli puts his man on toast, and then doesn’t have that pausa, that creative ability to see who’s in the box and find a target. Williams has a way of almost slowing the game down when he gets into that position. Phenomenal player!

We had to get Raya, Goalies with his skills/profile don't come around often. If it's possible to upgrade any of the first XI at a reasonable price like that we have to make the move regardless of who they might end up replacing.

Southgate played a lone striker against 3 centre backs (532) Milenkovic just man-marked Kane while the other 2 cb's covered him and their fullback's, that's why Kane never had a kick of the ball because it was 3v1, we should have brought off Foden for Toney that would tie up enough cb's to let Saka get 1v1 or allow Jude to arrive late. That's basic tactics, it's like Southgate never learned anything about the game.....

Southgate definitely needs to mix things up. I'd like to see Bellingham as a box-to-box 8 and Foden at 10. Then Gordon on the left with Gomez at full-back - we need a whole different dynamic on the left.

Hey Charles. We know it will be quiet in terms on incoming because there's Euros and Copa America going on. But most players who are on Arsenal's selling list(Nketiah,Nelson,ESR,Partey) aren't having any international tournaments right now. Wouldn't it be convenient for all sides if deals for these fringe players are done before the end of the international tournament? Arsenal loves the strategy of selling players first before making a move for incomes. Why aren't we hearing a lot in terms of out goings at the moment(Besides Nelson assessing his options and Fulham strongly wanting ESR)

Havertz did well for Arsenal in the second half of the season but he was hardly irreplaceable. He scored nine goals and had six assists in the Premier League in 2024 at a time when we were scoring fives and sixes multiple times and setting scoring records.

We keep on saying we don't need a striker, until we finish as bridesmaid once again! When are we going to learn? We need a striker. Yes, Havertz finally found his feet but imagine how good we would be if we had another striker that could win us games. I purposely used the words "win us games", because we score goals but don't necessarily have a striker that can win us games. Solanke, Dovbyk or Toney would make a huge difference.

In most games Havertz is the perfect solution, but against good sides who come at us we could do with an Option B- someone with pace who can get around the back of defenders- that would leave more space in midfield. Problem is- who is that? There just aren't any obvious players available that can do that.

We have heard for over a decade buying so and so would hinder development of some kids or existing players... that's absolutely bs Until we manage to win the PL , even more than once, there's room to improve the squad and indeed starting 11. Did City stop buying better? PL football , frankly, has become a huge global business, and it's ruthless out there and let's not get sentimental, it's not 1960, 80s, even 2000s anymore.

It's not the players fault, both kane and foden had excellent seasons. It always comes down to the manager and tactics, that's always been the story of England manager. They have all been shite except for capello who dominated in the 90s at club level, didn't happen at the national level for England. Bottom England manager have no tactical idea or flexibility.
