It’s all music. Ive been following thg this bunch since 2004 & Phonte since since. I love the intergration of styles to create a unified tune. Jean Jolly does folk or Acoustic tunes & Sy Smith -- more pyschodellic soul. It all works together when you add a lyrict & producer!

As someone that is also trained in music(playing a few stringed instruments the sax) and that has studied Jazz theory;I don't really see what your talking about.Out of all their songs they chose a good selection that bends well and tells their story as a group quite well!Also considering that there are at least 4 talented composers on that stage right now I think they know what their doing!
