Hey Jake, as fun it was to watch you move all the pallets there is a mod that is available on the in game modhub that stacks the pallets 3 high when they spawn, not sure what others think but I consider it a quality of life mod in my worlds.

(HUGE) Update on my run of this challenge: - Started with fields 53 & 54, immediately added a wind generator (medium), trailer home and precision farming shed (yes, im playing with precision farming, its more fun) - Grass silage with round baler. Slowly bought more fields. Adding fields 47, 48 and 50 gave me around 102 silage bales every "harvest", mowing 3 times per year gave me around 306 bales a year. On Hard, a 5500l bale of silage sells for around 1k. So around 300k/year. It is now year 15. Over the past few years, Ive slowly upgraded my wind generators, bought more fields, more solar panels, upgraded to the large cow barn (no feeding robot, its lame). Im doing corn silage with the Forage Harvester and chaff Auger Wagon over at fields 53 & 54, feeding that to my cattle. I also bought field 72, which im slowly transforming into a solar park. Next step is to expand on my grain farming and buy more dairies. - Fields Owned: 41, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 53, 54, 55 and 72. - Main Assets: 4 large wind generators, 18 large solar panels, small BGA (99kw), large cow barn (80 animals), downtown Dairy, Forage Harvester, Claas Trion Harvester, 2 large tractors, 1 medium tractor, self propelled feeder wagon, all the trailers, tanks and implements required to take care of business. - Average property income per month: $ 164,800 (passive income from generators)

Going to echo some other comments, get the autoloading bale trailer instead of front forks. I like the pallet trailer idea as well. Definitely get the biggest tractor you can.
@blackmoon84595 ай бұрын
So Jake, since you asked for input, I would say keep the Grass, because the wool>fabric>clothing production chain is a really good money maker. I would say swap out the other crop fields for the ingredients you need to make Cakes. Because those are the other really really good ROI production chain item. Edit: Also, yes, repair and repaint will always give you a profit on selling equipment. It might only be a couple of dollars more than what you would have made before you repaired and repainted it if it's a low enough value item, but for bigger things like tractors, it'll usually get you an extra few thousand dollars.
@mr.rubber_duck5 ай бұрын
I'd buy the loader and attachments then a trailer to pickup bales then a trailer for palets and finally if you have the money a plow and drill to truly connect your feilds and get better yealds also will allow you to make big feilds for you other crops so a worker will run straight through the hole area and you'll get a yeild off the middle
@lizardFS5 ай бұрын
There's a mod I like to use, autoload trailers, pellet and bale, if you park next to the honey it auto loads on the trailer making instant room for spawn, then you can unload into storage or direct sale
@sorenmeyer73475 ай бұрын
Imo you should get the automatic bale loader. Saves you the money for the frontloader as well

Well I just joined in on the challenge… But I have bought field 25 and is currently planting poplar for a sustainable form of income, then build up enough money to buy the harvester myself and then begin to cut grass with it to. Then get sheep and make a good buck
The harvester for beets is really expensive isn't it

So, to be honest, I have done many different crops, and I have settled on (so far) to plant all corn and drying it. I have found that I get the most yield and profit from dried corn. I'm making over 2 million dollars per year with this. Thanks for the comment especially with you and your dad. I think it's great and continue to watch. 😊

What I think should be in the next game is, if I upgrade my engine in my tractor after 50 hrs. The issues with constantly needing to repair it goes away. Or there should just be a fee for a complete over haul that will reset the life cycle of the tractor.

I've done the same setup as you are running (baling) and i did it with a valtra t series and i reckon you should do it as it is a really nice setup working with the baler and mower and you don't have to buy the new stuff you can also buy the old vatta/valmet and it does the job just as good and also try to get it with a front loader and if you can't i do suggest a telehandler.

You really should make up your mind what kind of crop you want to do. If u want to do silage or some other crop then pull full on loan to full buy all necessary equipment for them. its boring to see you go here and there and not able to make your mind. just do one thing at a time and make profits. Make some money its already 10 years in game and you don't have anything to show. Pull all loan Plant right Make profit Pay back loan Have Fun.
