Ive used the supertool for 10 years. I may be one of the first to buy one. Use it daily. Im a mason. Its done everything. It made me more useful as a worker.

Wow this is great. I love that you are bringing to our attention the continued relevance of this tough tool. I have often wanted to buy one but you are right - no scissors!! And interior tools. I have a knifeless rebar now that i carry at work. I like it. But... interior opening tools are kind of lame. Yours seems more worthwhile because the toughness is supposed to be unparalleled!

Good review. I have the ''little brother'' of this, the Rebar, also it's slimmer brother, the Bond, which I can EDC here in the UK - stupid laws prevent us from EDCing locking & fixed blades. The toolset on the Rebar is almost identical, except that it only has 2 flathead screwdrivers, which I find to be ample. I like this family of LMs - Supertool 300, Rebar standard and knifeless, and Bond, not just because of their robust boxy design which is surprisingly compact, but also because of the fact that these are the only LM multitools with a fully profiled Phillips driver. I know that the tools take longer to access than those on other LMs such as Wave, Free Series etc but if that's not a requirement these are the best options in their range. I can see myself buying the Rebar Knifeless in the future as it would pair up nicely with my Spyderco Urban

They are a nice family of tools and thats the attractive feature to me is the compactness and toolset these offer.

Wish they made a shorter heavy duty version that includes a pocketclip. The skeletool is unfortunately too skeletonized and too long because of that carabiner.

Agreed.

I got my super tool after losing my P4. It's definitely a work horse for me, having it be alot cheaper , I feel a lot more comfortable abusing it. I work in the army reserves as a mechanic so there's a big chance of it getting shuffled around or one of my subordinated misplaces it, now I don't feel as bad

The Swisstool is my absolute favourite and is my EDC. Just have not found a better tool for my needs, Although it really could benefit with the inclusion of scissors. Still have a real soft spot for the Leathermans though!

Not a Fan after restoring a heavily used one...lockspring sucks....will Bend inwards with use n make the Lock rattle...U can only fix it by taking the 300 apart...

I am not just not a Handyman ! All stacks! I have the Surge from Leatherman that i am using not that much! I don't know why! I am happy with but that's it! I have also The Victrorinox X Tool that i am usiing a Lot! Not yet since! Both are Great! But Really Expensive so i take care! But Trust me or not i wanted someting that i don't want to be broken or lost...My EDC turned out to be the B-Bury Pro that became My Very EDC Tool and for a less cost! I can't complain ! If something broke i can easylly change the bits, T-Shanks or whatever! I remind You i am in the fields with a lot of tools, Makita, Festool, Hikoki,Milwaukee, DeWalt,Metabo Bosch You name it! You Know it's No Joke! The Fitting makes the differents on standard bits and use! I like and i use Diablo Freud Blades so it's easy to switche blades depends on tasks! But i have so many brands names too! I am Not saying My Leatheman Surge is bad, Neither my SwissTool Plus, i Love them!!!! JEWELERY!!!!TOP NOTCH! But my TO GO is Now the B-Burry Pro at this time, it becames my only EDC because for Interchangeble capabilities and Adaptilities for Standart accessories! Also! Very Good !When i say that = No Issues at all compare to mines ! No losing ! It performs very well and much more tha i have excepected! I am just bluffed! If i am loosing my Leatheman or Victorinox i will cry for a couple months or years or more! Waiting for replacement parts ect ect....B-Bury will change mine right away! Also as i told you ! If you are having a B-Burry Pro just get another set of bits if you don't trust the bits! Personally i have Milwaukee bits , Bosch Bits, Makita and so on ! I have Only those 3 Multitools, The Surge from Leatherman all option for 4 years now, The SwissTool Plus from Victorinox Full Option for also 4 years now and The B-Bury Pro from now and Yesterday and Further now! My 2 Cents from a Everyday Use Carpenters and All around city Maintenance !
