Gameweek 5 will have more variance swings, especially if Isak and J.Pedro do not start. Watkins is on my radar. Newcastle play Man City in gw6 and Haaland may have a field day against them.

Great pod guys! Have a quick question. Would you use wildcard if you dont have Salah in your team? I currently have 2FTs. I can do Saka + Isak to Salah and DCL/ Vardy. Or I can create a good WC team without Haaland this week, get Salah, keep Saka and get Haaland for Salah in GW7 with 2 FTs (Ill have 3FTs then)

Personally not sure about the Haaland-less GW5 wc. He seems to be the only player in form who is nailed to score goals atm. I like Zoph’s suggestion a lot about Saka. I think he’s more dispensable especially this week.

I’ve gone against Haaland last 2 GWs yet I’m only 10 points down, hoping everyone keeps him for the next 2 while i have salah, watkins & palmer

I like to do Watkins for Haaland if Isak is fit, then get DCL or Duran for Muniz as well.

DCL is long term a bad finisher but we take that and play the fixtures + very few other FWD options

Have to disagree with calling Wolves the dominant side against Newcastle. Newcastle didnt create much but they dominated the first half. The Wolves goal was a breakaway

That was the problem. Easy possession and slow build up and being caught out with a big gap between midfield and defence for the goal. It was like they were copying Spurs! Willock being fit is huge for Newcastle. Howe needs to work out the right blend for midfield and attack with the players available. At our best under Howe, we had Joelinton and Willock on the left and Trippier, Longstaff and Miggy/Murphy on the right. There were clear patterns of play in attack. Now it feels more of a reliance on Gordon and then moments of class from others.

@@esembee7717 Wolves ended up with an over load for the goal as Bruno couldn't keep up with the runner. Well worked goal though tbf

Spurs look more like Swansea under Rodgers than Brazil '82 in terms of attacking threat. Passing the ball around in midfield doesn't scream dominance to me.

Backing Spurs offense right now seems a bit risky with Man Utd and Brighton away in gw 6 and 7. I would look to Vardy or DCL on a WC. Wissa is better than Solanke from 9-13 as well.

@@sickemboy9352 Spurs can score against anyone on their day. Wissa is injured and I'm not sure I can back DCL over Dom even with their better fixtures.
