Cracker, thanks Pras. I'd like to hear your thoughts about the impact of the changes to the free transfers persisting through a wildcard. Does this change the way you approach a wildcard? Typically we would take a 1 week punt leading into it, but now it seems like a better bet to try and bank up a few before your wild card (Why spend FT's when you are about to wildcard?) Thanks for the Pod appreciate it.

Yes thanks bud. Yeah the pre WC deadend is mudded a bit - but still think if there is upside in that we’re then why not. Eg. Isak -> Watkins is a deadend I would have definitely considered before the rule change - but I still might do it anyway.

Luiz Diaz looks very likely to start in gw5 because he came off the bench, played 30min and did well against AC Milan.

@alguwapo21 I can see Gakpo playing instead of Diogo Jota. Liverpool need goals and Jota has been less involved in the center of the box and lacking that final pass ever since the 2nd half of the Brentford match in gw2. Liverpool defence still looks good.

Quick comment on 1 week punts ahead of Wildcard Pras. I may have this wrong but if you use one of your two you have the chance to punt the other one as you will still have one the other side of the wildcard. If you don’t use the second one, I believe that you will still only have one? I think FPL towers should be awarding all players an extra transfer through the wildcard to make it fair?

Great video. Enjoyed that one. As far as I know, after you wildcard you start the next GW with same number of FTs as before the wildcard. If you have 2FTs this week and play wildcard, then you will have 2FTs available in GW6. If you have 1FT available this week and play wildcard then you will have 1FT available in GW6

No the rules have changed this year. If you roll 2 FTs then you will carry both into the week after your wildcard.

Agreed, but if you use all of them you’ll presumably get one back (which is effectively an extra one versus those that don’t use all their transfers)? So the punt as an option is relevant if you have one transfer ahead of wildcard or “need” to use others to fix your team leaving one spare one?

Never thought of it that way - if u have just 1 ft then u might aswell use it if you are wildcarding. As it won’t roll over, if you use it or don’t use it - after the WC you will still have 1 FT right?

@@Sachinsuperstars it is a bit confusing. If you are playing a wildcard in GW5 and you currently have 1FT available then you will have 1FT available in GW6. If you have 1FT now and plan to WC in GW6, then if you roll now, by GW6 you would have 2FTs available. Then when you wildcarded in GW6 you still have 2FTs available in GW7.

Salah is no longer Liverpools best player, he is not a talisman, he is getting less and less focal as he gets older. The only thing he has and others don’t is pens. Would not be surprised to see him benched at some point.
