Having worked among Phillipine craftsmen over a decade i can attest to their resourcefulness it was one reason that USN used them abord ships for decade's. Having never been in thier country i admired the jeepny from afar

That’s cool👍 My dad was in Korea during the war he said the worst driving vehicle he was ever in was a Jeep back then. I got a 73 CJ 5 and changed his mind about Jeeps👍🇺🇸

Ako palang yata unang mag cocomment dito.. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na meron pla ganito sa caloocan.. Still parang napag iiwanan parin ang pilipinas..

using a large crescent wrench? and using it backward. if only they could get them legal to sell in the USA. they would have to work a lot faster to build enough each year.

This is the traditional way to manufacture cars. It's OK as long as its a low volume niche market. But for mass production one has to use a robotic assembly line.

The Philippines needs to be an industrial country like Korea and Japan. If the population is 100 million, agriculture is not enough to operate the country. All families in the Philippines should be given a certain amount of farmland and half of the boys should receive industrial education.

It starts off really good with the laser cut parts the rapidly goes downhill! It kind of peaks when you have a half dozen guys working with c-clamps and hammers! I know the wages must be meager in the Philippines, but, boy they could sure use some automatic fixtures and some robots!

So awesome, I’d have improved on the design, larger wheel wells, a bit wider.. some crash protection, a full cage, especially having the cage go to the front windshield, that’s what kills people in rollovers.
