I'm finding mental/physical to be just as important if not more than afflatus. if the enemy have S+ mental resistance and B+ reality it seems better to just throw the best reality characters at them and disregard afflatus. But then again I'm having more trouble actually building characters than getting them.

Surely you jest? Only build 1 team per Afflatus, be it FUA or Poison or just generic OP/good units, all is fine. Unless you're new and really struggle with resource.

Exactly! The biggest problem is never having enough resonance caskets. I've been playing since launch and I can't even get all the characters I use most to r10. I only buy the monthly log in and I feel like this is pressure to get us to buy the jukebox. Very frustrating

@@indiereaper22 IMO, just focus on getting some basic teams up first. One DPS of each afflatus and the two best healers available to you, then build the two most universal supports available from your roster (since you need two teams in Limbo). That's enough flexibility to always be on the right afflatus with DPS and a non-weak afflatus with heal and support. With 2x support and heal, you can also swap around for your first raids if you need more or less healing. I'd suggest doing them in stages too, eg. i2 L50 R5 and then i3 L20/30 R8-10. Probably grab a couple of the universal DPS psychubes and level them first, then grab specialized later. Don't max them, just take them to level 50 to begin with since psychube growth is absurdly slow as F2P and maxing is for specialized psychubes on your fave/best units. We also have the power of future sight thanks to CN, so if you know you'll pull a certain character you can just farm the mats in the downtime when you've cleared the interesting event items and be ready to go. If you're new, screw the limited characters if they aren't very broken, it's better to grab the strongest supports since they're often what actually carries you. Basically, there's *plenty* of DPS to go around but a lot less really good support.

I've SSS recent raids and I don't even feel the urge to pull for meta anymore. And this is coming from someone that will skip Lucy and is f2p. Understanding the mechanics (which is really easy btw) is more important. Also, you can use lower rarity characters to supplement your teams, don't force if you know you can't get someone. I even used Bette for this Limbo.

@@siIhouettes honestly I just used Marcus and learned how the mechanics work but yes it's just more about how built your team is and how well they work together vs a particular boss. If 5* teams can SSS raids then 6*s can. In fact, you can even SSS the new raid in CN with just the free buffed characters, and that one had Eagle in it.

Well Shamane J and Getian all have synergies anyways. Mono afflatus aside, all of these 3 deal reality damage which Getian boosts significantly, Shamane's debuffs can stack with Getian as Getian has his named debuff (shape of bones), and J is just a good unit all around. Just plop down a healer and you're good to go

A lot of people in comments are saying that the game is so easy you can clear limbo and other regimes even with 5* if you don’t have skill issues, but as a newbie (been there only from the ending of Marcus banner) it’s hard to find guides for this game unlike in hsr/zzz so it would be really helpful to make them not only for characters but in general too

The thing about clearing with 5* is that it's really RNG based. You'll have to reroll fights a lot, because you can get fucked heavily. Personally it pissed me off to the point where I just grabbed like 2 or 3 solid 6* and then filled the gaps with 5*. It is a skill issue on my end, but I just don't really enjoy grinding fights in a turn based, card game where proper resource management can get you out of all your troubles.

My current plan is spend about 60 pulls on Windsong (I'll have 140 saved for Lucy), then Lucy (love her, will pull even if she's not meta or limited), Joe or Mercuria (I have Marcus, but I'm not in a dire need of a good support, so it's really down to which character pleases me more), no one from 2.1, and Mr.Duncan + White rum from 2.2 (still a bit on the fence about Anjo Nala, she's great, but she's not my love 😂)

I was lucky and got 3 copies of Lucy in 100 pulls. I had saved for a while so I felt like I could go for P2 on Lucy (which is a good portrait to shoot for if you have the resources). I'm not a whale either and felt like pulling for portraits on Lucy was the right thing to do for my account. 15:58 Mercuria's rank up is only an illusion. It only pretends the cards are higher rank so she can stack up cosmic energy. At p0, She can hardly retain 9 stacks conssitently, so she can't get the crit damage buff all the time. I feel like isolde is a better fit for Lucy as compared to a p0 mercuria

Lucy is really good with Mercuria since her follow-up attacks count as a rank-2 incantation. That means that with mercuria's rank up ult, her having 2-3 follow-up guarantees Mercuria's moxie insight gain and also gives her a shitton of cosmic energy. Lucy/Marcus/Argus is needed for really getting Mercuria's support going though tbf. Without those three, it's really difficult to get the ball rolling

Anjo Nala, my love lol As a 11-month returnee this has been my track record throughout one week: Already have Lilya from beginner banner with 3 multis and got Sopheby way back with 1 multi I believe before I left 1. Regulus within 3 multis 2. Spathodea from using 15 unlilogs in the select banner 3. Lucy from using just 10 unlilogs after failing to pull her with the free multi thing they gave us 4. Bought and selected 37 from the selector box 5. Semmelweis of course for free Those are my 6-star characters I have so far and have 13,410 clear drops + 14 unlilogs remaining. Planning to get Vila instead of Tooth Fairy eventually, Anjo Nala for sure, and the others I am considering Mercuria and Argus along the way. If even more lucky enough I'm considering Marcus and Isolde as well. Any suggestions? Free to player at the moment by the way, outside of having purchased that selector deal.

think what u want about kakania, all opinions aside, but saying getian is lucy's god team while brushing mercuria off as "luxury character" is just objectively wrong. not only is mercuria THE support for lucy provding the biggest dmg amp exceeding getian, when lucy helps up keep her stacks at 16+ more consistently she is also not a solid character outside of lucy/marcus comps, at p0 it will be impossible to keep her stacks high and her performance is around the range of any other dmg amper, 6, shamane or even bkrone, she is entirely under whelming and not at all worth the pull if ur not playing her with lucy or marcus. u will struggle to even hit 9 stacks more than 50% of the time, and u will get 16+ maybe 1/5 turns. She is the designated support for lucy, at p0 or p5.

Is it that necessary to get Lucy if I pulled Windsong? Cuz if not I'm planning to get Kakania and Mercuria if the characters get reruns then maybe Isolde and def Vila. Not sure about 2.2 characters tho. edit/ got lucy with free 10:)

Not super necessary, but Lucy is just a super strong unit that can go in pretty much any team and is not held back by afflatus. Her only real downside is her being a true Limited character 😂

I haven't the slightest clue who to pull for except for Getian. I have p3 Lucy at 150 pulls so I can get p4 (maybe 5). P5 Jiu, windsong p0, TF p1, p1 Vila, p2 Isolde, p0 6, and Spathodea p0. Who do I pull for anymore? Who would really benefit my acc the most?

In limbo yes Kakania should be enough to make your team survive but in more difficult content at p0 Tooth Fairy is better for survival

Tooth Fairy is like top 2 healer (next to Vila), so other healers look inadequate next to her. The good thing is that you can manage with any of the others since the game isn't super hard, so getting TF is just a bonus

I fully disagree w ur kakania vs Mercuria assessment. Marcus and Vila alone are already a solid team that so far can clear any plant based limbo and raid fully. I think both are luxury characters for sure, where the optimal marcus team would be vila mercuria kakania, however I feel Mercuria only works very well in Marcus teams and doesn't deserve a spot on any other team over other BIS supports like 6, isolde and yes Kakania. Kakania works in so many more teams than mercuria. Neither are must pulls but Mercuria's worth is really not as high as Kakania which works in way more teams, especially in raids.
