I'm definitely digging the aesthetic. The combat looks quite decent and the gacha elements seem fairly reasonable. I'd be interested in you covering this game more in the future.

While I really love reverse gameplay the main reasons for playing for me are the designs and the story - they are actually unique, interesting and although revolve around girls it’s not just a half or almost naked but in different font kind of design, so looking at this game… meh, I’ll give it some time to see if it’s worth it from this point of view

Yeah, what sets r99 apart from other gatcha games is the artistic direction. Art, music, and the multilingual voice acting are their strong suit. The card gameplay is kinda meh (there is so much room for improvement for a card gameplay)

I would definitely love to give it a try, I think the aesthetic looks amazing. Definitely they need to work on the interface more, cause with R1999 with the simple interface your main focus when logging in is your character you put on there, unlike this one were for me my focus goes straight to the right side and not the character. Besides that it looks lovely and hoping it comes to global in the future!

i think both game very similar, and both its nice, the problem of morimens we cant put best char in the same team, except for chaos who can free whetever u put....so my friends who play this game from start this game open, saying if there is limited banner for chaos u just take it...priority on them...and i agree...

@@ishfail It probably would be profitable for the devs. Lovecraftian themes, or Lovecraft mythos, might not be popular in China, but it's defenetly popular globaly. And plus the game has good character disgnes, and both male and female characters. It would be popular if it had a global server.

Woah, I never thought I'd see someone talk about this game. I started playing recently due to a video I saw featuring the new character Hameln. The gacha is pretty generous. The story is translated with chatgpt for now, but it's not too bad to understand. The story is a lovecraftian horror mix with slay the spire elements, so if anyone likes that, give it a try. They also have a discord that has an english speaking section too 👍

For me, this is the first gacha type game which has so little meta discussions and tier lists so I am just exploring the game as I go. Game is hella dark tho, the first chapter itself has some mature material.
