this won't be the last time i say this, but you should pitch a late night ASMR program to the Discovery or History channel. all they play are re-runs so it would be refreshing to see.

The history channel does not give real info anymore they dont want us to know anything
@poopingducks4 жыл бұрын
@@juanleon1138 It's not that they don't want us to know anything. There's no big conspiracy, cable networks don't give a shit one way or the other. It's simply way WAY cheaper to produce reality TV bullshit. You don't have to have pay writers, you don't have to pay actors, you only have a few producers, and a couple editors. So hardly any pre-production, a short production, then average length post-production. All they've done is lower the budget from say 400k to about 35k yet they still get the same amount of views / revenue because people (pre-streaming services) would watch just about anything. Cutting all the quality out of something to make a few people richer, truly the American way.

Discovery and History are trash, reality(fake) shows have bigger audience and they are way cheaper to produce.

Thank you for all the time and effort you put down on these videos, I absolutely love these kinds of ASMR videos, they make going to sleep something I look forward to a lot more than before and you make me interested in topics I never even knew existed. If I may suggest a topic, I recently wrote an essay on the Snowball Earth hypothesis (Neoproterozoic Panglaciation), basically a global ice age 600 million years ago, and I found it very interesting, it's still undergoing scientific debate whether it happened or not and in what manner it happened. It feels like something you'd make a video about and it would be really cool to hear you tell a story about it after writing an essay about it! Best wishes from Sweden!

This is one of the ones that are too interesting for me to sleep to. In fact I'm asking questions and pausing the video to Google them 😂 some of them knock me out directly though. The one about the Maya for some reason I don't think I've made it past the first 20 minutes yet, and it can take me hours to fall asleep, which is one reason I love your long videos. I can settle down to learn and be entertained and not stress about whether I'm asleep yet. Sleep has to sneak up on me; it's like the opposite of finding a happy thought. I have to forget about it before it can ambush me. Sorry I'm going on, I am decently medicated as it was a pain day and it's bedtime so yay medicine let's sleep. But not to this or I'll be researching all night. 💜

Since my teens I've been a fan of metal band Darkthrone, and they have a track called "Iconoclasm Sweeps Cappadocia" and this video made me revisit it and google the event. For those interested I found this post on the painted caves of Cappadocia mediaevalmusings.wordpress.com/2012/03/13/the-painted-caves-of-cappadocia/ Also an interesting fact, in Shiite Islam/Muslim communities, images of the prophet Muhammed are not uncommon, let alone forbidden. One can delve into the Persian Muslim iconography and art and find it as aesthetically and technically fascinating as old Christian Orthodox murals.

I don't purchase much actually, these are things I grab around my home. For the most part they are gifts, things I bought travelling or when I had an interest in them, and objects I took from my parents' home long ago.
