Necronomicon event into chem X at the shop into apparition event is the most insane RNG I think I've seen in this game. congrats on the run! I guess when you do enough runs, streaming STS content, eventually the RNG is bound to line up for a god run like this. Edit: I posted this, pressed play again... second whirlwind into dead branch was even more absurd. RIP no corruptions.

Just a tip for anyone that doesn't want to work out if membership card is worth it. If you have more than double its gold the answer is yes.

Incorrect. If you have more than double its gold and will be spending that half in the rest of the run on things you need, then the answer is yes.

@@tckgkljgfl7958 halving the cost of the shop is the same as doubling your money in every shop If you have 300 gold to spend and 150 is on card the you have half the amount of gold, but everything is halved. The amount of gold you pick up isn't halved meaning if you pick up 100 gold between shops, because everything in the shop is now halved it's the same as if you picked up 200 gold but everything is the same price. If it's just the 1 shop, let's say we have 300 and there is a relic for 300, card for 140. Well we could buy the relic leaving us with 0 gold but card would put our gold to 160 and discounting the relic to 150. Meaning we would have 10 gold left. So it's better to get card as it's less than half our money The only thing this doesn't account for is other random events that take gold but this was meant to be a quick and easy thought process. To give the example in frost's video He had 427, spent (268+100) leaving him with 59 If he bought the card 427 - 171 = 256 Spent 268+100=368 368/2 = 184 due to membership card giving a 50% discount 256 - 184 = 72 So frost would have had 13 more gold left over if he bought membership card first, making membership card worth it. And this is because 171 (price of card)*2 is 342, meaning frost had more that double its gold Thank you for coming to my ted talk :)

Lets imagine we have 252 gold And there are two items we absolutely need, one costs 201 gold and the other costs 51 Together they would cost 252 gold and we can afford them With membership discount these costs would be 101 and 26 gold or 127 gold together If the cost of membership card was 126 or half our gold, we would have 126 gold after buying it, and suddenly not be able to afford the items we absolutely need

This is like a better version of the deck I had when I first cleared a spire with ironclad. Necronomicon + Chem X + Whirlwind is already crazy with any form of scaling, let alone brimstone. I was curious how it would handle the heart but you fucking DESTROYED it. This was like a level 100 fighter in a beginner area of an RPG.

Enemies in first three fights have 1 HP is the strongest start. Is that really true? If you can get an elite in first three, I would agree, but usually, damage taken early is fairly minimal, so it rarely matters, and after the first three fights, there's no further benefit.

Sort of. If you have a deck of 0 and 1 cost stuff, it's bad because it makes your stuff more expensive on average. Anything that's 2-costed and higher is better though because it will likely stay the same or get cheaper, and 3-costed stuff will always stay the same or get cheaper, and Snecko draws you two extra cards per turn so you have more chances of drawing cheaper things. More often than not, Snecko is a huge cost reduction tool and there are ways of getting around up-costed cards (such as Corruption). It's gas.
