Hey all, Premiere sometimes get really wonky with nested sequences and audio. I thought I had fixed it, but unfortunately at around 26:19 the audio got messed up for 40ish seconds and I didn't catch it, so I just removed it from the video, which results in an unideal but unavoidable weird jump cut (if you still see it it's still being processed). What you miss: Lagavulin gives War Paint that upgrades two Defends Rarran takes Fiend Fire Sorry again, tomorrow will not have that issue -Andrew

tbh a lot of ap mid support-ish are or have been very strong like soraka, sona, amumu, alistar, blitz etc... imo sona's damage is so underrated that you could often go 2/0 early because you do power chord Q, kill, come back with sheen and do the same but from them at 50% hp. note that I haven't played in years, but at least when I played those off meta picks were great

I just never liked exhausting cards, if you mind can you explain why it’s good? Is it because of other cards like on exhausting a card you draw a card? I’m relatively new to STS, 1 win on every character (except the watcher). Honestly just want a couple tips doesn’t even have to be ironclad

​@@Na0811te exhaust is good for a few reasons. 1: you make your deck smaller, so its more consistent. 2: Ironclad has lots of synergies with it, dark embrace and feel no pain are very, very good. 3: most exhaust cards have fairly powerful effects. Fiend Fire can do insane damage. The cons of an exhaust deck basically boil down to the fact that unless you have a source for adding new cards to your deck, it puts you on a bit of a timer. It's like the opposite of a barricade deck. Instead of taking your time to build up, you want to destroy your enemies as fast as possible. one of the strongest decks i ever had was an exhaust deck where i had the relic Medkit which allows you to exhaust any status in your hand, Evolve which made me draw additional cards whenever i drew a status, Feel No Pain to block, and Fire Breathing for massive amounts of AOE. Factor in Dark Embrace for extra draw, and cards like Power through, Wild Strike, and the like? Incredible Defense, Insane Damage, and really easy to play as well. A good exhaust deck crushes really fast. The reason they work is becasue most fights, as Frost said in the video, most hallway battles last 3-5 turns, other than Elites. So in every fight that isnt an Elite or a Boss, you probably arent going to shuffle your deck more than once, especially if its on the larger size you might not even shuffle once, so the lost cards dont matter because you wont need them, and now you can reach your other attacks faster.

I know i relate so much to that one chatter that was getting clowned on for saying there on a7 and know more about the game. I do know a lot about the game, def way more than rarran. I just like the game and don't really care that much about winning lol. My highest ascension level is 10 on ironchad and 6 on the rest. I only play on a1 though. It's kinda like rubiks cubes they can be a fun fidget toy and it can be satisfying to solve it or just play with it, or you can learn all the algorithms and solve it every time. To me the former is more fun, i have no care to unlock the secret of solving the rubiks cube. If i did i would lost interest in it. Maybe that's a bad analogy idk.

@@bye1551 He's not outright refusing, he acknowledges Frost is right, but he's saying what his opinion is, like "removing is so bad here though" is basically him asking Frost why its good, like his card gamer experience is giving him a feeling its bad and he wants and explanation why he's wrong. As for the "I'm doing X anyway" that not because he thinks he's smarter, it's because Frost has literally already told him its not bad and so he'd rather go for a 'fun' choice that's not bad, unless Frost tells him something is more fun. I think you just don't like his 'banter' tone which is fine, but Rarran isn't being hostile, he's being joking.

You can convince yourself otherwise, but most people will disregard your opinion if you don't have any solid credibility to stand your ground (like having attempted a A20H run). Btw this is not a diss towards you, I'm just saying that you may have overestimate your knowledge in this game, while in reality there are multiple mistakes made in a run that you've never realised (speaking from 350 hours multiple A20H runs on all characters except watcher on all saves, and still learning despite it)

The problem with omniscience is that it's awful until you upgrade it, and unless you have very specific sequences it's bad. It becomes extremely broken with the right card combos, but otherwise it's awful.

I used to play yugioh and now i just play sts, its very nice to see how certain mechanics evolves. I understand people who play cardgame that favours on keeping their cards in play and not exhaust. But that only makes sense for long games. Meanwhile sts most of the time you're playing against monsters and fights dont necessarily last that long, and there's alot of merit in exhausting cards. Like: 1. Thinning down your deck and getting consistent draw. 2. Sometimes upgraded cards that exhaust others let you do more stuff or gives you something in return. (Reason why is most card uses energy as its cost, meanwhile cards that exhaust others commonly cost little because its cost is to exhaust i.e. recycle or burning pact) 3. It also makes it defensive against for status or curse
