6:50 Plankton's Robotic Revenge, SpongeBob HeroPants, and The Cosmic Shake are also video games that use music from the actual show.

Actually, only the name of the game was changed by Nickelodeon, the rest of the game remained unchanged

I wouldn't call this game "bad". Even with some of the repetitiveness and lack of enemy variety, I think it's still a competent game that's worth a play through now and then when you want to turn your brain off.

Usually whenever people talk about how good this game or the Atlantis SquarePantis game is, they're referring to the *DS* versions of those games. Of the two, I only played Truth or Square's DS version, and let me tell ya, the rock-paper-scissors approach being applied to the three attacks - Bash, Spin, and Shoot - add a layer of strategy that may have been missing from the home version.

I found myself replaying this again and again. Call of Duty Zombies is repetetive but it never loses interest.

I've seen you trying to hide around. But yes, I saw the upload date of this specific video on the video sharing website known as KZbin. This video was uploaded on Friday, June 3, 2022 to be exact. KZbin doesn't even tell you the exact weekend the video was uploaded on since you seam to care SO much about that stuff. SpongeBob Plankton's Robotic Revenge was released on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in North America and SpongeBob HeroPants was released on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, before long before the upload date existence of this specific video. Oh and The Cosmic Shake was at the very least officially first announced on Friday, September 17, 2021 in North America and in English and lots of trailers for The Cosmic Shake were released throughout the year 2022, revealing lots of information about the game. In fact, a little too much information about the game to be honest and for stuff that was considered spoilers at the time. What's your point? Multiple SpongeBob video games that I just named reused music from the actual show, much like SpongeBob's Truth or Square. SpongeBob's Truth or Square at least had some excuse for reuseage of stuff because it was an anniversary title. But what excuses do Plankton's Robotic Revenge and SpongeBob HeroPants have though? Them reusing show music in those games is just laziness/rush job/whatever. It's especially worse in SpongeBob HeroPants when the short music tracks are just on a constant loop throughout the long drawn out, slow-paced levels. The only ways to get rid of the constant short music loop is if you finish the level, mute the device, or turn off the music completely in the options menu. Plus, SpongeBob HeroPants is very repetitive and the most hated SpongeBob video game of all time with most players not caring or being in the mood to defend that game. SpongeBob The Cosmic Shake, yeah it reuses music tracks from the show, but it also introduces a lot of new things and some new original music tracks. So The Cosmic Shake works in its favor where there's a lot of reused music for fans of the show, but at the same time, there's also new music that makes the game stand out from other titles and be appealing, even to non-fans if you really want to go that far.

Because you always try to be a pedantic freak about stuff, but as soon as someone tries to explain the things and situation in great, clearly blatant, simple, details, you go off on a hissy fit because "oh not responding, don't care, it's not important" despite you claiming to care so much in the first place. Again, why do you have an interest in this stuff anyways? Plus, you trying to always argue or spin things back into your favor whenever somebody says otherwise and objectionably has a reasonable point or a slight difference in taste. Heck, you even bring up unrelated crap that nobody cares about or is unrelated to the subject matter of the video. Like what does somebody's supposed internet addiction have to do with the actual video? Yeah, you used internet access to watch the video, but news flash buddy, what you need to get access to a video is the simple story for every single video ever uploaded on this website.

Honestly, one more issue I want to bring up is the lives system itself and how the game isn’t well designed around it. The levels in this game from the start are LONG, to the point of suffering from Sonic Heroes Syndrome(maybe even worse). This game also has bullshit design like slippery floors and bouncing walls with bottomless pits, and enemies that can gang up on you with how much damage they all take and how few options you have to take them on. I know how Frozen Cavern says that health is a non-issue, but for those situations I mentioned where you’d be unprepared, you will die a LOT, and when you lose all your lives, you have to start the nearly half hour level all over again. Because of all this, it makes the game even more tedious, and don’t even get me started on how horrible the item backtracking is with the level design.

@supermariof05212 жыл бұрын
Yeah I have no idea why. I guess because Nickelodeon forced Heavy Iron to shift the games development, combined with the PS3 being difficult to develop for, and Heavy Iron not having that type of budget, so a PS3 port just wasn't possible.
