Thank you for your information. Just an FYI, I have stayed at a Hampton Inn (a Hilton affiliate) in Alpharetta, GA. The complimentary breakfasts are the same in most, if not all, Hampton Inns. Choose a hotel that offers complimentary breakfasts. It will SAVE you money. You'll find that "in park food services" are gougingly overpriced. Happy traveling!! 😊

We stayed at Dockside Inn in April this year and I definitely recommend it, however there was NOT a shuttle to Seaworld at all. This was confirmed by the reception staff - we took a Lyft instead.

Had no idea they’d stopped it, thanks for confirming! To be honest I very rarely use any off site hotel shuttles because of the timings.

We stayed at the rosen plaza this year, fantastic location for all the parks and nice pool area. With Epic opening next year we are already looking for hotel deals, thinking of doing a dockside and then a few days at the end of the trip at hard rock, hoping both would get you the early entry to epic

No seaworld shuttle but if you go outside the surf side trolly stop 6 south this will take u directly to seaworld. Not included in the price but I trolly tickets is $13 for 2 weeks

Unless it's recently changed, I believe there is a free shuttle if you speak to the vacation planning desk. You might find that the i-ride trolley is more convenient though.

Just to homewood suites by Hilton at the time we visited in sept 2023 they would put a hold on your credit card of $75 per night for the length of your stay. We stayed 7 nights and had a $525 hold put on a card before we could even check in.

For anyone going to epic next year, I cannot recommend dockside and surf side enough. They’re great value hotels and technically the closest to epic universe, which will be running universal transport buses to and from the new park. For anyone staying outside universal property, I would see about getting to somewhere with a universal bus stop so you can spend less on Ubers.

@@TheFrugalBritI was thinking of dockside, but figured surfside would be less crowded since it’s smaller. What made you pick dockside over surfside? Do the busses run the same amount for both or more for dockside or whatnot? Couldn’t get stella nova or terra luna for opening. Hopefully the bus goes straight to epic and not city walk first.

We are looking to go again 2026, we usually stay at the Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando and have never had any problems but we have always previously driven, on our next visit we will be ubering so we thought Lake Buena Vista might be more central 😂 I have looked at Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista but reviews are really mixed so would be really interested if you do manage to do a hotel review. We love your videos, thank you.

@@TheFrugalBritDo you book on-site hotels off Universals official website or use third party websites? I’ve tend to notice it be cheaper on third party’s but there’s always that risk of your reservation not syncing or unsuspecting resort fees on arrival.

Why do you never mention the LYNX bus. It goes from the airport to I Drive. I get a travel card which is $16 a week and have meet other British family's on the bus. I go every where, yes it takes a bit longer but must save me lots.
