The reason there's less people is because there is drastically less things to see and do than Disney world. Both are great in their own ways but its not surprising why Disney world is busier beyond the global brand name recognition.

I wish people in the comments going for the first time could have experienced the OG Universal. Terminator T2 3D and Jaws and Kongfrontation, earthquake, everyone should watch those videos and ask Universal why they replaced them with lack luster shows. Sinbad 7 voyages was never properly advertised in Island of Adventure so many never got to see it but the set was 12/10. Fear Factor was alright but Bill and Teds great adventure was epic every year for HHN til they went with cheap dance acts. They now have animal shows and street shows. Enjoy!😒 Enjoy the Old Universal by going to Japan and you’ll see why I say this

I went during that time as a kid and all I remember was almost every ride we waited over an hour to go on then they’d close it down for “maintenance” 😅 I honestly hated the trip to Orlando as a kid because of things like that, and a roller coaster at Disney getting stuck on a hill for 3 hours in the blazing hot sun. 🎉

These parks have absolutely no shame and take every dime of your money they possibly can. $30 just to park, $270 for a single ticket, $15 for one slice of pizza and another $200 if you want expresses passes so you don't stand in line all day. It's ridiculous.
