Also really budget friendly for a palette. I use a tile with a glass top. Watercolor washes away. For acrylic, I use a razor blade and scrape the paint into the trash. No paper plates for me. From a tile store.

I found a super cute ceramic pallette (it's a mini one) and it fits inside of a small watercolor tin. I'm in absolute love with it, I think the brand was called Bowerbird (fun fact, bower birds are real and they make little structures to display to females. They often adorn the structure with shiny rocks, feathers, and other objects.)

I bought that art easel after your recent demo of it. I also bought a cup clip to add to it so I will have two cups for water. Then I found a big rubber band to put around the box to hold the clip. I haven't used it yet, but think I'm ready when I do. Thanks again for the review and suggestion. I've been wanting one for a long time.

Yay - I love gift guides. Do you know if the Paul Robens rainbow set use oxgall or gelatin? LOVE the Tonic watercolors. They're so much better quality than I expected!

I got the Lighwish wooden pochard box and I love it. It's heavy and made well. Also as an aside, you know those empty metal pallets that was sold in bulk? (I think 6 pallets for 12 bucks?) Those pans fit into this box. I also go the Tonic water colors which seems nice. Haven't used them a lot yet. I gifted myself. ;)

I like this 6-8mm electtric one from Jarlink: amzn.to/3YWg3DD I've used it for years and it is still very shap. I use it for all pencils except for my Brutfuner square pencils (they are too big) and chalk/pastel/charcoal pencils.

That brass circle tool is a ripoff of the real thing. Amazon is slow to remove copyright infringement products. I have the real Iris tool which costs a little more than $100.

The wooden palette box and the Tonic paints reminded me of a palette I’m thinking about buying for my stocking - the Watercolor Studio Eco Palette. KZbin artist Lynda Norman uses two of them sitting together on her desk. The wells are huge, we could squeeze an entire tube of paint into them and have less clutter to store. I bought the Tonic set after watching an earlier video on your channel. 😊
