Today we are looking at Tri-Art watercolors from Canada. These were sent to me by a viewer (thanks Wendi!) and dried down in pans from tubes. These are not available in many shops outside of Canada but you can order from the Tri Art Website: tri-artmfg.mys... or you can get a sampler from Blick: shrsl.com/3yjef
Pros:
Pigment info available
Available in 4ml pans and 5, 12 and 22ml tubes
Colors are smooth and transparent
Cons:
Not available in many shops
Bottom line: I think these paints are fine. They didn't wow me and they seemed a bit expensive for what they are. they remind me a lot of Turner watercolor which is quite a bit cheaper in America but these might be a more affordable option in Canada.
