Congratulations to Jane and Divine on graduating. I agree the cost of the engagement ring isn't important, it's the meaning, sentiment, and commitment behind it that is. Unfortunately, western women have lost sight of that, they expect a man to spend and entire years salary on a ring, which is why so many will never see one. Interesting but not surprising.its been my experience that a Filipina just wants to be loved and not cheated on as well as be an equal with her boyfriend or husband.that being said it seems to me that the Filipina has a hard time getting that from both the philippino man as well as the foreigner. Giving this to a Filipina will make you a very happy man, as I have found out. Take care out there.

Never ending love was my wedding song, how corny is that, haha, fortunately the marriage did not last forever, phew. I wish you would interview older ladies, who might be more experienced with romance and not as shy to answer such questions. It’s the celebration of the number of months that a couple has been together, it’s called monthsary. I guess I pronounce it wrong 😂? But it’s monthsary.

No one knows more about ATMs that american woman, i've been all over the world and never seen as many gold diggers anywhere as what you'd find in LA, NYC and Miam!!! Many women in other countries, like the Philipines, have much more traditional values which means that money and looks aren't the only things that matter to them, they want masculine, confident leaders who can provide peace and stability in the long term.

I'm curious why so many Filipinos are embarrassed by their English? It is probably your third language. And they don't speak it on a day to day basis. I don't think many Westerners would ever expect you to have excellent English skills. Heck, have you heard us trying to speak Bisayan? Please let them know there is no expectation of her quoting Shakespeare. The mere fact they try is good enough for that majority of us. Thanks.

Aww that’s very understanding of you. A lot of Filipinas are very shy to speak in English because they’re not confident, they’re scared to make mistakes and scared to be criticize.

@TheFuentesFamYT That's unfortunate. Heck, I'm an American and even I get flustered sometimes and forget the proper word to use. Let the ladies know we (at least me) don't judge them. It takes a lot of guts to have a microphone put in your face, get asked questions in a foreign language, and then quickly respond, again in a foreign language. There aren't many that can excel at that. Most wouldn't even try. Please let them know that we appreciate them. Regardless of how they think they sound. Thank you to all the gals and guys you interview.

Most of the times, they’re not sure what exactly their height is but usually they’re 4 feet tall or 5 feet taller.
