That is a mountable tac light, useful for clearing limited visibility areas like dark rooms. It's mounted on the side so the light can be turned on and off without breaking your firing posture.

@@TheFwoosh You were spot on, in my opinion. The laser sights normally used by military forces tend to be shaped closer to a deck of cards, like the PEQ-15. It's not outside the realm of possibility that it's supposed to be some MARS proprietary laser sight; I'm just going off of experience with the real world equipment.

I have to say, as someone who bitched about the first few figures, the team has really gotten itself together. These figures are a homerun. All three of them scratch that classic itch. I can't wait to get my hand on them. Spirt may just be in the figure of the year running already. Storm Shadow is just as fantastic.

I absolutely love these! Can’t wait for them to show up! Many great decisions made! One of my favorite details they sorta snuck in was releasing Storm Shadow and Spirit in the same wave! Big fans of the 80’s toon likely remember these two had a fascinating rivalry, and these figures look like they jumped right out of the cartoon cells! Another thing I really appreciate is Spirit himself, as I’m half Cherokee. His face sculpt is perfect; let’s be honest, they could’ve really messed that up. Same for his beautiful skin tone and those braids; so natural, and his bandana may be small feature to many but is perfectly done and colored.

If it makes you happy, if it gives you even a sliver of the joy we felt as a child when messing with our action figures, then go for it. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. And no wrong way to do it either, whether you leave them in the box or put them in a tub. It's all about the fun.

best thing about the line is they are making more of the cobra island. i was done with the line cause i was not going to pay $300 for a baroness. now that i can get at least one of everything and helping people army build i am buying the line agian. love them all.

I found a Baroness during the sale that was going on when Breaker dropped. Red box in the middle of 5-6 blue boxes of Breaker = YOINK! SCORE!! I still want her helmet re-released on a female Viper or something. Too cool sculpt to be a one-off!

I was so excited for Stormshadow from this wave and the rest were down on my list. Now that I own all three, the Conra Officer is my favorite of the wave followed closely by Spirit. Funny how this happens sometimes. This is maybe the best wave in the classified series to date. All three are dynamite releases

Okay, I have to say that I'm really impressed with the accessory game in this toyline. $20-25 price-range, but weapons with removable magazines? That's fantastic! I wish they'd make weapon and/or accessory packs in this scale for a reasonable price. Like two rifles/shotguns, two handguns, and a couple of other random things like knives, grenades, what-have-you for like... $15? Would be really cool.

Check out the Action Force accessory packs from Valaverse. They are both like 10 different weapons with some removable magazines and a few blast effects for $13. They are both still available for pre-order on BBTS I think.

Gah, I *just* found BAT and Alley this WEEK! Now we’ve got this wave hot on it’s heels? Hasbro SLOW DOWN! 5+ waves of ML in three months, now multiple Joes incoming? I can’t afford it! Or FIND them all! (Still need Ultron and Miles to complete Ursa and Armordillo!) Cobra Officer - I can’t help,but think the stripped down armor makes him more the rookie/grunt than an officer. Gotta earn his armor, y’know? Storm Shadow - with the “more realistic” aspects of this line, I prefer the movie figure over this “too clean” white ninja look. Nice sculpting, tho. Also, where is his clan ink? Only on the backpack. Spirit - where is his tabard? 😜 I really need Charlie here compared to Alpha Flight’s Shaman, if not the Proudstar brothers. I might be giving him an extra boot fringe from a spare Forge, if not a trimmed down Eternals tabard. Freedom - can RAPTOR be far behind now? Or at least Polly w/ Hector? Speaking of Hector, now I can’t wait for him to be announced next. Oh yeah, leaked list seems to confirm Tiger Force figure (Duke?) with the Tiger Paw aka redeco Ferret 4wheeler. I reallllly hope they start working in small vehicles more. And if they can put out ~$20 vehicles for other lines (kiddie/Barbie style), they can do it for Joes and ML.

I think what I’m most impressed about is that storm shadow’s sheaths are oriented the right way. The blade edge should always be facing up and I think this is the first time they did it for someone with swords. Snakes eyes’ sheath is oriented incorrectly 🤓

As a kid, somehow, GIJoe was a line I got a lot of my wants--Hell, my parents even spent the money to get my brother and I our own Rattlers, so I had Commando Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Spirit when I was a wee lad, and I cannot wait to get Storm Shadow and Spirit, and Freedom this go-around--they look SO badass. Looks like I will be loving these new joes coming out. Got my preorder for all em. But still have to say I think my articulatedicons white ninja with the bare arms pack also a cobra decal is still going to be my official OG storm shadow of 6 inch. Oh will def get the hasboro storm shadow but just making that icons one and the way he looks he still think going to be my best storm shadow in bunch. Can’t thank you enough for those ninjas got most em but unfortunately only 1 Samurai, unfortunately by time I got bk into collecting figures most were gone and I’m not buying 3rd market crazy prices.
