@@Nundalose Hell yeah! I first got introduced to Pedro Eustache when my mom made me watch Yanni's live show at the Taj Mahal and China's Forbidden City when I was little. The show is called "Tribute", if you're interested; Pedro was a legend even back in the mid 90s with "The Lady in Red" (Karen Briggs, violinist). I recommend anyone watching them duke it out on "Renegade", or watch Pedro play the Duduk on "Prelude"!

@@ricofede4913i play the suona myself, and while it has middle eastern origins (surna/sorna), its chinese form is known as the suona, and even within china itself, there are many variations on the instrument, namely from shandong (山东）、shaanxi （陕西）, chaozhou （潮州） and many more. the version used here is the most common version used across china, (i believe it originated from shandong). how it works is basically a small double reed instrument sort of like a recorder. it has a really really loud and piercing sound and can be easily overwhelming in chinese or asian orchestras sorry for the info overload, while im not from china myself, i've been playing the instrument for a few years now and is relatively quite passionate about it and will be glad to share any info about it as a native english speaker!!

Flute guy is Pedro Eustache, he is good friend with Hans Zimmer and helped him create unique instruments for Dune OST (because hans wanted instruments that didn't exist due to otherworldly planets in the story) which Hans won oscar for, he is basically wind instruments god. And the dev, LocalThunk didn't expect that Balatro will be big. He only intended to make it for his friends and family but then, he got recommended to sell it on Steam. When he released at Steam, nobody played it and he released the Demo and a lot of Twitch Streamers played the Demo and finally releasing the full game months later. Also, the fact the game is just a Poker meets Solitaire with the Jokers who will help you competed with other games which mostly are action adventure game or even just role playing game or just adventure game is amazing.

Most of the time, I always got defeated by The Needle (the one that you only played with One Hand!) And it always happened between Ante 4 , 5 or 6! Or sometimes with The Water (the one where you have no discards) or sometimes with the one when your level got decreased brutally to 1 again!

Flutes are some of the most exhausting wind instruments to play, as the way they're designed straight up makes you waste a TON of air while playing, so you need strong lungs just to play one without getting winded quickly. (Even then your lungs will adapt over time if you play it consistently) This man can switch between MULTIPLE wind instruments seamlessly, AND dance around without risking his sound quality. Oh yeah and all that by MEMORY?? He really is PHENOMENAL!!!

No offence but oboe and bassoon are unreasonably hard too... Nothing compared to flutes. Yes, switching between different wind instruments is extremely impressive. By the way, doing it by memory is nothing much since it's like remembering the lyrics for a playlist of songs lol.

Yeah, definitely. Playing by memory by itself is not all that difficult to do with plenty of practice--Marching Bands do it all the time. It's the fact that he plays multiple instruments effortlessly and flawlessly that puts him on an entirely different level.
