You're expecting way too much for a first trailer. Those 5+ minute gameplay trailers are one of the last trailers that Rockstar releases for a game, typically a month away from release. Announcement trailers have always been roughly a minute long teaser. They'll showcase some scenery, maybe some audio or clips of the protagonists and that's about it.

GTA 6 is one of those games that I always find myself randomly laughing or cheesing to myself out of excitement just imagining how amazing and mind blowing it can potentially be. I'm so excited that the official roll out has finally begun after all these years and I'm ready to soak up all the aticipation the same way I did with gta 5 roll out. I remember 2012 all we had was those 2 screenshots (man sitting by the pond, and police helicopter over los santos) for gta 5 and I would admire them and let my imagination run wild of the possibilities, just hyped for any bit of information... I remember you said you got so excited when tlou2 was announced you went out for a walk, this gives me that level of euphoria haha.

Lol so well said. The gta6 trailer is gonna blow up from the insane amount of replays it is bound to get. There are gonna be 30 minute videos analyzing every frame in it all over the internet. I hope they show a decent amount, and don't do a 30 second teaser. But I guess at this point I'll take all I can get lol

@@lucassmith1886 yeah, I'll take anything and cherish it. I know I'm going to rewatch this trailer hundreds of times. I still go back and rewatch most rockstar trailers going back to gta 3 every now and then. I already have my trustworthy channels for gta when it comes to those analysis videos, number one being gta series videos. It can be hard trying to filter out all of the clickbait when it comes to gta these days, but by now I know what to avoid like a plague.

One thing for sure, we'll finally see the pinnacle of 9th generation consoles graphically, and the conversation of "we have yet to see what these systems can do" can be put to rest. GTA6 will be the standard that other developers will be striving to achieve even mid PS6 generation, as you can see with RDR2 many developers have yet to reach that. So we know there's no game that'll look better than GTA 6 on PS5, with the only possible exception being Naughty Dog's next game if not on par.

I can’t even fathom how they’ll beat what they did with RDR2. The sheer spectacle of the environment there was what I consider to be the pinnacle of gaming to this day. And in a cityscape? Obviously they will surpass that benchmarks with GTA6, but Im not sure that im ready for my mind to be blown yet lol. In GTA5, they had some of the biggest demonstrations of explosions, buildings falling before that was even a thing in games, imagine how far they’ll be able to take that now.

​@@pitqthe rumor, (that I take with a grain of salt but I wouldn't be surprised if true,) is that gta 6 has a 2 billion dollar budget. With that budget, combined with the talent at rockstar's multiple studios across the globe, as well as the time they've been working on this game, this will put every other developer to shame for at least a decade. I still get overwhelmed with rdr2 on ps4, they really achieved that on ps4 hardware. And according to tom Henderson ps5 pro dev kits are already sent out to third party devs by now. Rockstar will make magic on this updated tech.

They actually released a short trailer for RDR2 in 2016, it didn't show much. The full in depth trailer came out much closer to launch. Not sure if this will be the case with GTA. But I'm really hoping this will be a full gameplay reveal trailer. 🤞
