We all were one hit away from death by the end of the first half but when the theme kicked in we found our second wind

I was so happy with the final fight against the eagle. It was a very satisfying buildup and had a great climactic moment, when Jin accepts his father's death wasnt his fault anymore. The musical cue into that 2nd phase was mesmerizing.

I played the final mission wearing the Sakai Armor complete with helmet and mask and Kazumasa’s Darkness color scheme. Seeing Jin and Kazumasa speak while wearing the same armor was so cathartic and it made sense story wise. Jin would use his father’s armor so that both he and his father’s legacy can be redeemed.

@@lkvarthuro2401 Nothing changed? I've never seen a boss fight like this in the main campaign. The Eagle fights pretty uniquely compared to Khoutun Khan since all her attacks start with either an unblockable, or a parry only move. Her attack patterns aren't similar at all to the bosses in the main game. That's what I think about the Eagle anyway. The other bosses aren't as unique, but they throw out their own special attack here and there.

I just finished the Eagle fight, that was so intense I almost cried! And the transition at 10:46 from the cutscene into the fight, where my spent resolve came back full, was so powerful. Love this. Btw, The Eagle also had some dialogue after that, she was like "the potion isn't affecting you anymore, how's that possible?"

I loved the addition of Black Hand Riku's armor. Really rewarded players aiming for that parry lifestyle. So challenging! Especially on hard & lethal. Definitely died a lot trying to be perfect but it was a great challenge after completing the main storyline

Moon stance and airborne kicks is smart to stop her attacks and do your own. Can’t just play defense and counter b/c her quick and far reaching attacks must be parried or dodged (ahem, sarugami armor)

I died at khunbish at my first try since I was severely underleveled when I started Iki Island. I immediately started at the start of Act 2 accidentally since I thought I can go back. I went for the main stories first before the side quests so I only have 5 resolves and a little long health, only got 3 stances unlocked and I was playing at Hard since I always do that to every game I play on my first playthrough. I also never change my Traveler's Attire outfit with the Oni Straw Hat since they're both red. But I got Khunbish at the 2nd try. Really fun fighting bosses when you're a little underleveled.

Any blue glint means that it can be parried, so yeah you can counter him after. Or if you suck with timing your block for parties, just roll out of their range.

Ikki Island really had a different vibe than the Tsushima Island even fighting against the same enemies. The fact that the Eagle is messing with your head the entire time you do something makes it even better. Just do the side missions first, or yet, finish the entire base game first because there's a lot of reference in that Tsushima that will be shown in Ikki.

Iki island's ally (raiders) is more useful than the samurai ally (before exile) from Tsushima. The ally raiders will just spawn all of a sudden during fights with mongols on roads. And they will be there to cheer up Jin whenever they win.
