Japanese voice actors are much better in this game than usual. Also they never talk in usual fashion, instead it is just lines of describing themselves most of the cut scenes so it does sound weird when you understand what they're saying, that could also be a factor.

One thing this game taught me is to be patient and learn every enemies move set. I never played Nioh and I jumped straight into the 2nd one. Since it is a prequel after all. See, I was so impatient when I ran and started trying to hack n slash. Quickly noticed how ineffective it became. DMC is a different kind of tough. Yes, the enemies don't play, but if you have good reaction, you can beat it. My biggest grip with the game is enemies attacking you off screen. Again, still spoiled from DMC. I feel it was more fair they had it to where enemies don't attack you off screen. A good example was when I just got finished killing a Gaki and got off screened dropped kicked from a Cyclops. But aint gonna lie, I was mad, but I also laughed pretty hard.

MBacc just make a ninjutsu build you can speed run the game in about 7-8 hours I beat it and ng+ all in 2 days using ninjutsu it’s so strong and you just have to set back and throw kunai without any risk now I can start making new builds and learning other play styles since I can farm all the best gear they’ll probably nerf ninjutsu soon tbh

That's the NG+. you can go in the underworld the bosses are much, much harder. There is also this thing called stone of penance which also makes the game harder, you can increase the penance 9x. Nioh is a fantastic game for gameplay

So certain weapons are yokai themselves, developing sentience as they get used. The meter indicates that the weapon is gaining sentience. In gameplay terms, this gives it a temporary buff. Once the buff ends the meter resets.

First try. If it was more than once then they won’t show the cutscene or introduction of the boss.

You can tell he didn't on the first try since his guardian spirit was on the ground before some of the boss fights. It would be next to impossible to defeat every single boss fight in the game without dying during the first playthrough. Even some of the best Nioh players who stream the game has died or gotten hit on the first encounter with each boss fight. This player is still very impressive in the way he learned each fight though.
