Adults dont have sexual relations with children because the brain is completely developed by age 21-25. So we try to make the age of consent laws match that. I think even 18-19 is a little young. @@ellewis817 Of course, we're tribalistic by our own nature, so when we find groups that affirm our own ideals, no matter what they are, we stick with them, sitting in our own echo chambers until a lot of us end up blocking out other ideas, perhaps in part due to fear of being rejected by the group they're a part of for having a different opinion. This was always a problem, but has become far more noticeable with the internet shining light on it, especially now with the many different political sides each having at it with each other and refusing to back down and have a proper, and open dialogue with each other.
