I had a friend who faked his own death for attention. It really fucked me up because even though we weren't super close anymore, and he had a lot of problems as a person and with drugs, it still hit me pretty hard when I saw the post from his dad on Facebook. I was sad about it all week, meanwhile there were numerous posts on his dad's account, as well as his (claiming to be his dad), interacting with comments and posts about it. I had an inkling in the back of my mind that it could be fake, and some people had actually commented saying they didn't believe it was real, but it felt disrespectful to assume that if he actually had died. Then shortly after, he came out and said he's actually not dead, he just faked it to see what people's reaction would be. I don't think I've ever felt so betrayed by anyone in my entire life. I immediately deleted and blocked him everywhere I could and haven't looked back. Faking your death is not okay, and that reasoning is so poor that I couldn't even begin to empathize with it. At this point, I already grieved for him, he might as well be dead to me. When he does die, I won't have to do it again.

I've been diagnosed as having Meniere's Disease, which is a severe form of vertigo. The Meniere's Disease goes hand in hand with migraines, and this affects women more than men. There's NO chance of dying from Meniere's, or vertigo, UNLESS you're on a roof, and you get a dizzy spell, and you fall off the roof but that's it. IF the one was actually dying from kidney failure, he'd be a yellowish color, and his eyes would also have yellowing in them. Plus he would be in a hospital, or hospice, being pumped full of pain meds to help him die without being in severe pain. So, that's a HUGE red flag. I don't understand WHY people feel the need to fake that they're dying in order to get attention. How are these two idiots supposed to do when there's no funeral for them?

The reason a lot of people including myself forgave sketchek is because instead of trying to act like he made a recovery which he probably could have gotten away with. He made an apology video not to save himself but instead to accept the consequences of his actions. Most people are just happy that he’s back and are willing to give him a second chance.

You know... I suffered from a severe bout of vertigo a few years back to the point where the thought of going to the bathroom or going to make something to eat, literally made me cry because standing was just about out of the question for me. A few times during a shower (which admittedly during that time was a rare luxury for me), I almost fell from the world spinning so hard and would have my roommates either listen for me falling with their phones at the ready or stand outside to make certain I didn't fall. I never knew that it could have killed me! All jokes aside, having a severe case of vertigo can be very dangerous (falling down the stairs, falling in the bathtub, etc. etc) but using it to gain KZbin views is, in my honest opinion, disgusting. I will never forget the times where I couldn't even sit up because that day my eyes couldn't tell my brain that the world wasn't tumbling like clothes in a dryer.

The weird thing about that situation is that the chiropractor they were talking about is a real guy who claims he can cure everything with chiropractic adjustments including cancer and organ failure. He's exactly the type of guy who would tell a couple of kids they're dying of nonsense like vertigo and that only his treatment can save their life, and they actually traveled to the US and saw the guy. I started to think maybe they weren't lying at all, that in fact it was this "Dr" Bergman who lied to them and they were just dumb enough to believe him, and perhaps the video they made was an attempt to bring in some money for their trip and treatments rather than a fake clickbait video intended to trick their viewers because if there is one thing that Bergman guy isn't, it's cheap.
