I would have to say cambridge definitely step they game up with the m100 . Next to the devialet gemini 2 you can tell the difference for me I like the gemini 2's because it fits my Sound preference BUT you can't lose with either. The m100 is kicking ass and taking names.......

Looks like a good pair of buds, I'm going to return my AZ80's and pick these up. And i'm only returning those because I picked up the AZ60M2 for $100 only and they sound almost exactly the same both are great buds thou. I'm very exited to try these!

Of course I watch all your videos and am familiar with the Cambridge Brand from back early in my Stereo days setting the standards for which everyone else then had to try and follow !!! They are slightly out of my price but appears to be a high-end Value !!! Setting an Industry competition for the ones costing a lot more !!! I probably will do lower or mid-priced range first but will definitely have to save and share this for the future !!! I can't see a reason to spend $100.00 dollars more on Bose and looking at both these ones appear to have a better fit !!!

@@rdutta5368 In comparison to the Sony XM5's I would say that these have a much better sound signature out of the box. Like I haven't even messed with the EQ on these because I love the out of the box tuning so much. And the ANC is top notch. Especially when you use the foam tips. Not quite Sony or Bose level but it's pretty darn close IMO. My main thing I care about in audio products is the sound quality and that's something that these do extremely well. Especially for the price

I bought these on an impulse purchase while being a bit bored on holiday, I kinda didn't want to like them as much as I do since I recently purchased the Status Between ANC , but I can't deny, they do sound better, sonically they are very nice to listen to, and nail every genre I throw at them...... Suffice to say they are keepers !!!! Although the Denon Pearl Pro have been reduced and are not much more, I am wondering if they will sound even better than these ????

@@beckett5543 Seems like they may have according to some reviews. It's weird but there was only a couple of reviews out of many that ever mentioned the Touch. They all mentioned the 1 and 1+, but not the Touch which I found strange.

The sound is incredible but the design is the worst! The earbuds come loose inside the case always! and the over-sensitive touch button is killing me. I hope this M100 fixes all these problems.

I loved the sound of their Melomania 1+. Unfortunately, they weren't reliable or durable though. I had to warranty 2 pairs and the 3rd pair only lasted 14 months before the right earbud failed. From my www research, I don't think I was just unlucky, lots of people had issues with them. I think I'll wait and see if they've remedied the issues before buying a pair.

I love my Mifo's 05 gen 2 but I'm shopping for another pair . I'm on the fence and was considering the Technics AZ 80's but now I think you may have changed my mind . I'm liking these quite a bit now . Nice review and I'll let you know what I end up with

@@jamestorres5582 tested both of these, technics sound clearer, have more bass but cleaner, have better anc and better pass through. Cambridge comes with foam and silicon tips. The only thing I would say Cambridge surpassed the technics was the volume. Both buds have good sound stage and instrument separation.

@@frenchtoast1068 I returned the m100, the technics are better in sound, fit, comfort, anc and transparency mode. The m100 have top tier battery life but that’s it. If technics had APP2 or Sony anc quality these earbuds would be the best all round earbuds on the market.

I have personally tested melomania 1 (I have them) and momentum true wireless 3 and I liked the momentum 3 just a little bit since the bass was A BIT more natural. So I decided to wait for momentum 4. But now with the surprise of melomania m100 ... I've changed my mind 😁

OH THANK GOD ! the melomania touch RUINED ME! at the time it was god tier sound and still honestly hard to top across the board ... but the connection was so bad and they never fixed it. i tried so many. sonyxm4s, samsung galaxy buds pro 2s 1more evo... even with wavelet. none of them could really win. this may be the end of my suffering. i cant wait.

depends on your personal taste. the bass is fuller in the M100 and I feel there is better space in the audio. Golden Ages have a little more peak in the treble so if you like things brighter go with those.
