Its the green yellowish tint that does it, the graphics are better in terms of rendering, distance and even the resolutions in the second game. But it just looks worse. the first game has better lighting and details.

In tasm 1 it’s more of a style thing. So you can choose to wear a damaged suit or wear the normal one

Love the suit damage effects in both games. The combat for the first one was good but the 2nd one was a downgrade. But the finishers in both games are dope. Even the stealth.

So, Basically the camera angle while swinging in tasm 1 is more cinematic and on the other hand swinging physics is more realistic in tasm 2 coz web goes to the building's walls that helps spider man to swing and it makes more sense comparitively tasm1 swinging physics where web goes directly in sky and let spider man to swing💀

You can rappel in TASM 1, you just gotta stop yourself from swing foward. Simply pull back on the movement button/stick whilst swing. It's hard to do when spidey won't stop swinging, but it can be done

Stealth combat was better on the second game due to all the various animations for stealth takedowns. The first game's story and graphics were insane, though. Especially the boss fights.

I wish I still had both games, I forgot who I gave them too but it was before Insomniac made their Spider-Man game, then I saw the amazing Spider-Man games at my local game store but both were $30 each, maybe next time I'll pick them up

At this point, I think we should all agree that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game was a very lazy game in all aspects. Story, gameplay, graphics, illumination... everything was awful, but I couldn't see this when it launched. Talking about story, it can even be canon (I really don't know if it is, I'm just saying that it may be), because it's very well written and it doesn't hurt the story made in the movies. For me, Bully Maguire looks at TASM 2 game and says "You're trash"

@@lucasmeira2357 i finished it few times like 9 year ago, now im replaying it on my phone and without nostalgic view this game actually feels undone. If i remember correctly the developers didn't had enough time to finish their product, but company wanted to release it as soon as possible because of a movie. Reminds me situation with Prototype 2, second game was way worse than first one, just because company didn't get enough time for dev studio. There's even a button hints in game which doesn't do anything, and also there's some unfinished animation when you hold some button (don't remember which one), but nothing happens, character just pretends to do something and he won't do it already.

@@hiroosama I have to say... I had a great time playing those games. But now, looking back and stoping by to replay them, only TASM 1 is really good. I get it, about the studio having little time to finish the game, but like I said, not even the story is good. The Green Goblin, way worse than the movie version... That Carnage, I'm not saying anything, I just pretend it doesn't exist, because it's the worst thing in the game... Electro is good BUT, poorly used... No Gwen in the game. I get that it happens while they broke up the relationship, but she's an integral part of TASM series, even more on the second one. It's a good thing Activision lost the rights to Marvel games, because they lost the handle. It's just a shame because now we can't buy the good games anymore, like Web Of Shadows, Edge of Time, Deadpool. But, it's good that now we have Insomniac's Spider-Man and probably Deadpool will show up again in Insomniac's Wolverine. I want so much to see where this universe goes, with a proper ending when they need to finish.

@@lucasmeira2357 yeah and i agree that first game is way better, but it would be even better without open world. I mean the city is just empty and web swinging looks kinda weird because of web connecting the skyes. The whole story is based on close areas and they are really good, boss fights are good, and story telling is good enough for superhero game. But still i somehow like second game while it's just feels like a children attraction which doesn't have any affect on grown people. The game itself is just all right, new web swinging doesn't have good physic, but at least your web now connects to the buildings (most of your web). Wall crawling is just the best thing in every spider man games, i was so happy to see new web swinging from insomniac game, but i was so disappointed when i saw wall crawling. It's actually so sad that TASM 2 has literally the best wall crawling but there's almost no place to use it. I just finished the whole game and almost didn't used crawling, i used it only to see animations but i had no need in that. For example there's Edge of Time game, and there's a lot of places where you actually need to crawl on the walls, but in amazing 2 you just don't need it.

You have to buy physical copies of them, Tasm 1 is on ps3/xbox 360 while tasm 2 is ps3/ps4/xbox 360/xbox one. Out you can just emulate them, hope this was useful.👍

Torrent lil bro, just get Repack from Xatab. But there's some problem with graphics settings, they are broken on PC and there's no any settings menu, so you gotta follow guides. I have graphics preset application and custom launcher, you need to open graphics preset and then launch game from custom launcher to accept changes, then you can just open with usual exe file.

I hate the character model of Spiderman in TASM 2. The extra muscular back parts looks cartoonish and weird. The first one did it better.

And i like his new muscular design more than old one. He's a superhero, he's a mutant who's muscles grow on their own, just gotta eat something. Look at his delts, he actually looks like someone who swing on web everyday.

@@hiroosama Haven't tried that out. I never played the second game but have seen enough gameplays so don't know about external suits. I have played the mobile port in my childhood and even though that has definitely way less detailing of course, that suit design looks more appealing to me cuz of non muscular effects, that looks kinda more similar to the Movie imo.
