I think this period of EastEnders was some of the best writing for Kat in the years after Kat/Zoe. I think the character of Kat came full circle. They had to regress her when she came back in 2010. Its been up and down since then but I still love Kat. Looking forward to seeing Kimantha, Kat and Sharon back on screen together

Kat confronts Sam after she, Chrissie and Zoe planned to kill Mr. Den Watts in the Queen Victoria Vic on the 20th anniversary of EastEnders. But it turned out that Chrissie Watts killed her husband (Mr. Den Watts).

Really good work from both actresses. Kat is only defending her daughter and really did make Sam and Chrissie feel scared. You can not only see the anger but hear the anger as well in her voice against both Sam and Chrissie. People should be scared of Kat. You don’t want to mess with her or else she would headbutt you. Kim Metcalfe as Sam really was more softer than Westbrook, but here her descent into desperation and madness was just brilliant. Also her drunken state was prob one of the best drunk acting I have ever seen. Her digging up Den in the Vic on Sharon and Dennis’ weddings was superb. I’ve been there, being absolutely terrified about secrets being revealed or being blackmailed and the fear of having no family around makes it even scarier as you have no one to help you. I prefer Kim, sorry Daniella, but Kim was my Sam when I watched Eastenders.
