I can understand the frustrations with the current meta but I think people are just in an adjustment period. The game has been slowed down in a way that they've been trying to do for years. They wanted people to focus more on teamwork, the ring and placement. Now you've got very real obstacles (support players) that are pushing people to play less like desperate apes and more cohesively. Much of the people I find moaning in my games are just not very good in the first place. I will admit that they should in turn Buff other legends. To what degree or in what way, who knows as long as it doesn't lead back to Apex being way too punishing. This season is a gift for learning aspects of the game that are not just being a movement attack dog

nah running a triple support stack is absolutely busted right now, I was doing it last night and I've never no-brained a match so hard. Our entire team just sent on every other squad we saw for 25 minutes straight and won with ~ 10k damage 30 kills total. No way this can be called balanced.

@@ExoMilk Like I mentioned, I think they should buff other legends and definitely tweak the balancing. It sounds like you and your team were just really in sync. I've watched and played enough matches to know that it doesn't help a brain dead Gold player win

it’s very frustrating to players who don’t even like playing support though. i don’t mind encouraging having the team pick at least 1 support by adding benefits (crafting banners), but they added way too many little passives to support that make them game breaking. a team that’s not all support starts at such a disadvantage, eliminating the desire to play non support legends. supports have become a rez bots with seemly infinite shields, creating a meta that doesn’t punish bad positioning or gun fights. buffing certain characters to a point where playing anything else lowers your chances of winning isn’t healthy.

@@caparicio157 Yeah I definitely agree that there should be more incentive for legends outside of support. However, my only rebuttal is that I don't believe that players don't get punished. The game is more forgiving but it's not pushing undeserving players into higher ranks like previous ranked changes. Skill and game knowledge are still required to outplay and adjust. It is a hard adjustment but that's just how it goes

I've been maining Mad Maggie this season. She can penetrated Newcastle's Q, Lifeline ult and Gibby dome. Going riot never been this fun

A big plus is the shotgun meta, as her perk nullifies the reduced speed you get when you hold your weapon out. This saves time in fights and gives you a speed boost while hipfiring or ADS'ing.

@@DevinHeida i choose double tac because in many games, approaching newcaste's Q and lifeline ult is hard (especially now newcastle tac doesnt have HP) and i need 1 more tac without worrying about the cooldown. Using the double drill supports me in many situations.

Wouldn't it be weird that he would be the only assault legend who can have constant wallhack scans even tho he's not a recon then? Also that'll actually nerf him because recon's scans and ads highlights are much better than assault perks. Its just seer's kit that is diff to balance, his abilities are all about info going through walls and it can be really oppressive if buffed too much.

ehhh she's pretty situational and even if you get guarenteed value out of her, you're throwing the game playing anyone except for NC, gibby, LL, pathy, Maggie, wattson, cat, conduit, or maybe fuse as shown here (even so theres more than enough heals and bubbles going around to deal with fuses most of the time, and that's without wattson who im really leaning towards thinking is pretty vital in this meta). imo best comp this season at least for ranked is LL, NC, wattson.

I'v been having fun this meta. The correct team can make those unlucky bad positions salvageable, fights are intense and you are in a better position to fight those third parties. It helps that the legends I play have been buffed and teamwork being more valuable as well I won't lie and say that its good that every team needs at least Newcastle to not be rolled over and 2 supports to be competitive. The double heal perk could go to skirmishers for a more balance as well

But Newcastle still very much exists and he's a big part of the support build. I use fuze a lot but a better option is still Maggie she counters and zones the supports way better. For all my fuze mains out there I know Maggie got a indirect debuff not able to destroy some other abilities but she is a good substitute if you feel like your not making impacting on the team as much as a assault

imo the hp regen is good but the speed res is a bit too much and maybe they should change how hp regen works and stop working with ring damage, if not you just cant die in zone 3, idk if in zone 4 too, i honostly think the 50 hp on res from wattson and gibby was great to have like a mini gold knockdown shield for when outside the ring tho.

The x2 heal could stay but the bhop give it to skirmisher, and maybe even the speed res for control or remove, and give something else for control and other things for the other 2 classes.

Sure if you can shoot the pylon thats great but that must mean youve done enough damage to a team with probably a minimum of two shield abilities to stop them damaging you as you wide swing to get an angle on the pylon, and wiped out enough fences to take space to get the angle necessary to destroy it, and if you've done that the fuse abilities are borderline obsolete as you've already mostly full swung. idk, just seems like a lot of conditions need to happen to get any value in that situation that OP described.

@@thehamburglar2420 also, you ask when you ever see wattson ults countering fuse out in the open as if people just play out in the open when outside. people almost always play from cover to cover, rock to rock usually, thats literally what fuse (and Maggie) are designed to do; get people out from the cover they are playing by making the cover more damaging than repositioning. to add to that, given that in this meta Newcastle is literally a must pick in every comp and newcatle can practically create cover wherever he needs given that he hasn't used his abilities carelessly, Wattson players have more options than ever when having to emergency ult outside when in a teamfight.

tbh i never thought he could be this good against a team that pushes you OR to push a team the downside is that your teammates are also affected by your ult slowdown even if they dont take damage. Tbh the best counter to fuse (if you dont want to play wattson) is to not leave like most soloq players do, fight until the end god damnit, the mindset of "oh, we are gonna die, i will leave prematurely to try craft their banners and respawn them" you not only are losing that fight that might be winnable with your support but also are ruining your match, specially when you didnt plan where to go and if its a good idea to try that stragegy because if its too far OR might be other team around there OR the team that slaugter your squad knows that you are going to go there, you are screwd. I hate when im clutching the fight thinking my other teammate is gonna help me any second to finish the last guy or the last guys that are really low (because of me ofc) end up knock and see that my teammate is literally 100 meters away from me, like, if you were here instead of running away the fight should be over by this time and we would won it. Specially when im rampart. Then he proceed to do his strategy and either die trying to reach the closest replicator OR make it but now we dont have any loot, we have to go to zone and there are enemies nearby that heared the respawn being done that want to gatekeep us. For those people, pls, think that if you cooperate on the fight you could win it, get loot, get KP, dont waste time crafting, respawning and looting again and get the trust of your teammates that you fought until the end and manage to win and if any of your teammates died and you or the other teammate that is alive his a support legend, you just have to grab the banner and respawn him on the spot because you get a free mobile respawn beacon, only if the person who takes the banner is a support legend, so remember to let the support legend teammates grab the banner if you arent a support legend aswell or if you dont have a mobile already or want to keep it for later.

Some changes are completly okay, but overall it´s ridiculous. Heath shouldn´t regenerate automatically as it makes knocks useless unless you don´t push within 3 seconds to stop the revive. Which is impossible if you don´t 3-stack.
