Every time I have alter's ult active, my teammates won't use it, expecting me to wipe a whole squad myself and revive them. I'll literally have it at a safe distance, hidden, they'll be down, but absolutely REFUSE to go to it. I cant tell you how much that pisses me off.

F, but btw, you have time to revive 1 teammate and a half before the enemies get to you with your portal, so keep that in mind, if you want to play alter you should have a caustic or wattson protecting your ult, in case they chase you.

He needs invisibility at the very least. He is now completely vulnerable while in his drone. Like he used to be. The way I think it could be balanced is maybe if you looks at a crypto that’s invisible for a period of time, they will start to shimmer/glow. Cause some people don’t have $200 headphones. But he needs another buff past that at this point.

I think Loba should get a passive or talent upgrade called “friendship bracelet” that lets you attach a bracelet on to a downed teammate and when you use your tactical they teleport as well; could give her a unique way to reset fights that fits her character.

I was literally just thinking about that. All the support legends have abilities or revive-specific skills that give teammates protection during/after they are revived, but Loba doesn't have any. Even Wattson is more valuable with a gold knock than Loba and she isn't even support

The buff I wanted for a couple of years now is kinda similar to your suggestion. Loba can throw her bracelet and just let it land without forcing her to teleport. She cannot shoot while her bracelet has landed somewhere, she can however interact with the world: loot deathboxes, open doors, pick up loot, etc. This would fit her thief lore. She can also begin the revive animation and press teleport to TP both her and the downed teammate to safety.

maggie is insane this meta should be S. her fire ball alone makes life line and gibby dome useless. pair duel drill or big drill and they are basically unplayable against her. u ball inside a dome and they are force to leave. same as life line. against NC big drill is still insane i feel lile this list only look at the pushes from the support rather than hampering them. if support try to bunker down then the support cant take down Maggie. Maggie shotgun perk allows her to outgun gibby in dome as well. Gibby is not gonna peak with drill plus shot gun running at him

Like maybe a conduit perk “while charge is on a player all shield items are 200% effective” so that you can’t just quick heal all the time or maybe “when teammates are in/near your ultimate, syringes are twice as effective” that way it can still save a fight and be in the game but it doesn’t get you out of jail every time

I am glad that this wasn't just 'Alter is trash'. I have been having fun with her and as you get used to the tac and when/where it has value you start seeing the potential. You do need to be REALLY aware when using it and I don't recommend blind ambushes. There are a lot of times you can get behind a team or avoid a gate keep with it. Ult is as described helps bring ppl together. Key is don't sit on it. It's useless when not deployed. Be proactive with it.

I agree she is fun to use, although I feel like sometimes my teammates don’t understand that they can use my port in an emergency. I place it safely before a fight just in case we need to reset. When it works, it’s great. But I solo queue so randoms don’t always follow suit. I think she’ll get a better rep if more ppl try her out and understand her kit

The only problematic thing about crypto before was the true invisibility, now they even added a nerf on the drone going to the ring for some reason.

@@sb18wlc I think respawn is trying to remove hard countering from the game because it really diminishes the effectiveness and consistency of a legends abilities. Kind of like how they removed thermal scopes from the game as they were hard counters to Bangalore. They have also removed scan legends abilities to like see through Bangalore smoke. Hard counters are difficult to balance because changing one legend effects many others. It seems they are trying to remove those interactions so balancing a legends more rely on the synergy between the team and less about how it hurts other teams abilities. Personally if they are going to remove is ability to counter these walls and shields (which is fine and I get why) then they needed to add something else. Like maybe his EMP take all shields away and causes a slow effect if you try to shield back up

There is 0 reason to play anything that isn't pathfinder or a support legend. I want to know who at respawn thought these changes were a good idea. Faster revive speed, faster heal speed, full hp regen for free off revive that doesnf get canceled by ring damage, small heals heal for double for supports only, free bag space, perfect shields, good mobility...this game is done for man i just wanted better servers.

But i still play rampart when im tired of losing games, she is so op on the right hands

And about the not Control class, her gameplay isnt pushing everything and forget about the ring, if you do that you will eventually die because of that, she dont have any mobility which the skirmisher class do.

Id say you are undervaluing ballistics viability. With my squad I've been able to get to diamond with him. Having infinite ammo is amazing! Having his ult mean you can win a war on attrition against other teams either they run out of bullets or healing but you get to poke as much as you want. Also, faster reloads and movements speed for the whole team is super great for going ham onto people and the tactical has won me more fights than i can count. That being said there are some caveats: 1) Hes not that great for solo queue since taking advantage of the ultimate wont happen as often. 2) His ultimate has more value the more hopups are around. I would always carry either an alternator or havoc in the sling for the disruptor or turbo charger on command. Right now the viable option is the rampage since it will give you the gun shield and a termite in one go.

Pretty sure they removed turbocharger from havoc since last half of the previous season so even if it was in the extra weapon slot you can’t get the hop up off ult. But I agree with everything else

I'm really tired of the Octane neglect. The entire skirmisher class really needs some love... a better class perk to begin with. They have no fancy bins, no game changing scans/info, and little to no team contribution. At this point give them Conduits movement passive or free redeploy balloons so we can at least feel like they have a rewarding class perk.

@@ToastedTater420I agree. She is very good for aggressive plays, especially in buildings. She is very good for pushing and retreating if necessary. She is also good for getting loot when u r a solo. Her tac is good in any fight if there is objects or buildings and good for poking and catching people off guard. She sucks in open field if u don’t have her ult already placed which is the main problem of her. This is my opinion but I feel like reducing her tac cooldown for a bit, make the tac portal depth more and make it where you can control the placement of where the portal tp you would make her a bit strong ig. She is fun tho, I manage to get the 20 bomb with her on solo mode on the second day of the season

Can the community stop acting like skirmisher and skirmishers are a good class, I'm an Octane main and boy is most of the cast due for some buffs, like just path is actually good and Valk became a better character just by switching classes. Skirmisher gets the worst passive, it's ok but when every other class has 2-3 now it really sets stage for power creep, I sure do love stabbing myself and still being outsped by like 1/4th of the cast

Actually seer cant stop them from performing the res, but he stops their special res. Mirage doesn't go invisible, life line cant passively revive. Havent tested new castle but i imagine its the same, he cant drag and shield the ally.

Good tierlist, but I think you are underestimating Gibby. I don't think he is worst than lifeline. He has a higher skill ceiling. And someone like Abralelie is a much more dangerous player on Gibraltar than on lifeline, trust me. Not many people can play the big boy, but if u have mastered him, the bubble fights, the peaking, the strafing, the shotgun aim and having that ult to destroy teams in endzone or thirdparty. Naw, Gibraltar is absolutely back.

Ballistic keeps being under valued. In every tier list, everyone since he is good for 1 v 1 and not against a team, but always forgets that he can now get 2 tac charges from his perk, meaning he can affect 2/3 of a team in a fight and that can make a big difference! Even using one tac in a team fight can turn the fight in your favour. The slingshot perk is also neglected in tier lists... as being able to obtain hammerpoint once you reach purple evo is HUGE! Not many teams will have hammerpoints, so it's an advantage. And what to say about the ultimate... not just infinite ammo, but also fast reload speed and movement speed not just to you, but your entire team! Which gives you that slight advantage in a 3 v 3. I would personally put him in high B or low A I think.

u do realize maggie's ult is so fckin unstabble right? throw it inside dome, most of the time it get stuck in a spot while doing nothing, sometimes even dissapear instantly, which is why the best way to use her ult especially if u pick the burning ball is to throw it 20-50m before enganging the enemy so u won't get hit, your entire teammates get speed boost, while also the balls can build up enough momentum for the thermite explosions to trigger on hitting enemy so the burning balls not being a useless perks, it won't burns enemy instantly on hit if not used like this

As a new ash main, I can confirm she's super fun and very viable, her ultimate is great for pushing if you know how to use it, as well as repositioning or running away, and her snare if used right is really good for beaming someone or catching the whole team

One thing about conduit that I think slow her down is her ult. They should make the damage higher or your movement reduction in it more. There’s been alot of people recently just running through it since last 2 seasons. That’s all I’d tinker with her

the thing with ballistic as i mentioned in the stream, is that you try to force a 1v1 win it super easily with his tactical, use the tactical when you have to, not too early neither too late, just when you are about to shoot, and ofc the ult if possible, and let me tell you, ballistic ult 3rd gun slot is for p2020 or mozam mainly, because they gain the juicy hammerpoint, combining that with the 50 hp damage from the tactical and the 1 sec stun to the enemy from the tactical after he shot a few rounds and if you dont miss he is dead, and your teammates gain reload speed and infinite ammo for their nemesis, etc imagine 3 nemesis with infinite ammo shooting at max fire rate and up close akimbo mozam or p20 hammerpoint (you only need to grab 1 to be akimbo, so early game you can have akimbo with grey attachments). OFC the problem is that he lacks on mobility and dont have any protection ability unlike rampart who has her walls and sheila which melts enemies, I was playing solo Q with newcastle and was a horror, cannot help teammates that suicide in front of the enemy without even knocking or letting 1 shot someone, that also dont cover nothing, they are what people used to call, brain rotted people, I mean, its fine, i cannot expect my teammate to be nearly as good as me nor better, not even preds are better I dont get it, they should be better but I played with and against (I repeat, as a solo Q) a lot of preds these season and they seems to be boosted or bought the acc, no joke, im serious, most of them only know how to third party on the right moment and some not even that. Warning: my experience below dont have to read if you dont care. I usually never third party or at least not that tryhard to wait till they finish and the second after start the fight and kill them, I dont practice those dirty strategies, I just have fun playing normally but when the games are against me I pull out rampart with sheila and make them pray so survive (I will also mention im not pro or I dont consider myself pro for 2 main factors, I play casually, a few hours or less from time to time, not even every day, and with a few I mean from 1 to 5 at most, generally 1 to 2 hours, and because I dont tryhard the games at least to that point, I mean, I want to win and I try to win but while having fun, pushing some fights I shouldnt push, etc and well, maybe another thing about that, I dont try to loot, swap, move, etc super fast, just fast but dont practice those things neither want to, Im like TGM but sometimes shoot better, sometimes think better (as if I where the igl) but we are kinda in a same lvl.

she needs her insta phase OR no movement restriction while casting the phase. Using her phase usually doesnt mean nothing, she will still run at same speed, cannot heal, cannot interact with anything and ofc cannot fly or something to reach high places, if she uses it before knocking someone she could get knock or survive a few sec before getting knock, if she uses it after downing someone the enemy will probable get revive and you will still be low hp and probably die moments later and if you use it early to prevent taking damage to repositionate, you still have just a brief moment to repositionate while moving at normal speed. They nerfed her many times without thinking, i called it a long time ago, now merchant consider her F tier, not a surprise to me. Its a shame she got some many nerf :C she is so cool and hot with super nice skins for what, she is nearly trash, you can do something with her but you can do much more with someone else and more easily :/

i used to be a wraith main and now have switched to playing mostly alter or horizon over her, and she just has a really underwhelming kit. her tactical is clunky and doesn't offer much in this meta, her ultimate is just kind of dated, and she basically doesn't have a passive. wraith needs a lot of love.

A mistake on Newcastle, the shield regen doesn't work on downed players. It's after they get revived. So it takes a little longer

I'm currently 8k kills on Alter and welp. She needs blue perk that buffs her tac depth. There would be so many cool rotations. Her ult welp... it's dogsht most of the time. There's no value in fights. Only useful if you have premades 1. Because randoms are never using Nexus 2. It can be useful for your teammate that is holding off angle. He can always come back to his team.

The only buff balistic needs to be OP is an rework of his tactical to make enemies not able to equip guns for around two seconds. Not just 20 damage and then just a hand wiggle till they can shoot again. Make them unable to equip any gun or throwable for 2 seconds. Then he's meta.

i'd put alter in b-tier to be honest. she has a very strong passive, a good ult, and a map-dependent tactical. on e-district, olympus, kings canyon and worlds edge she's very strong as she has loads of buildings to play around. on storm point, and broken moon she's not as strong because her tac just doesn't have a ton of places to be used. on her best map, KC, she's nearing A-tier - on her worst map, BM, she's like mid-C tier.

I agree with Valk and Ash being A tier. But they are even higher on the A tier list when they are on the same team. The snare and missile combo is insanely lethal. Add a couple of arc stars to that mix and it's even better.

Thoughts on giving octane stim wallride ( without double jumps) and gun run (shooting while aimed down and sprinting)? It would be a way to increase the skill ceiling of his movement and it would provide compensatory power for his health lost when stimming. Maybe increase the cool down if you do this tho.

I’m a fan of both LL and Newcastle and I honestly think LL has a slight edge on NC, she can fully reset her team so much easier than NC, not to mention she can heal mid fight. I had a Bangalore teammate get hit to 10 hp twice in a fight yesterday and the drone stayed attached to her long enough to heal her to 100 twice

You missed the most important part about greedy snare. The actual flying tactical and the one that hits the wall are treated as 2 separate entities (so they can each hit once). Basically means you can start a fight with a free 40 shield damage if you can aim it (sometimes on multiple people)

If they do not tone down supports soon the seer f tier is going to age poorly mark my words! He cant interupt revives but that 8 second silence is one of the few counterplay aspects to this annoying triple and double support comps. I started using him for this reason and im finding success taking away abilities as these supports like to bunker up and beat you with attrition. Seer silence allows you to full commit and a well placed one can cripple their sustain. These support comps are playing very mistake prone and if you take their bs away they are usually in terrible positions Seer will rise!!!!

Alter is the best team transport legend when traversing buildings. And if her ultimate is placed correctly she is great paired with a Lifeline. She is definitely tactical. Ballistic is also the best sleep pick as long as hammer points are that strong… 1 v 3 so much.

Ash tractical with the greedy perk doesnt redo damage , it can only do 1 instance of damage per target during its life time , targets do get slowed for as long as they stay in the trap radius tho even after the tether is gone

Rev needs such a rework , His ult sucks now since it regens on knocks instead of instantly like before, at this point I don't mind if they mixed it with his old ult, My idea would be where they made it to where he places a shadow on activation and he keeps that over shield state ( don't mind it being reverted back to 75 shield) But when he "dies" in that form he gets sent back to the shadow he placed, atleast making use of his tactical of wanting to push fights and still having an ult to do so as currently. 😅 idk my boy dead

For seer get rid of heart beat re place it with something else. Tactical should be a recon style of grenade that lasts for 15 or 20 seconds, and tracking for 5 seconds after leaving the effected area. Replace the ultimate with something similar to conduits ultimate that creates a recon wall that lasts for a minute so you can recon wall off pushes from a third party obviously larger in size and increased tracking after passing through than the tactical. Make him back into more of that assault recon but with some control abilities

The amount of good newcastle players is really limited to gibby. Playing ranked with newcastles in my team, absolutely lost when they start rezing with a white shield against 3 players. It happens all the time.
