i honestly I dont see how it changes much, they fundamentally do the same thing when it comes to making zombies. id argue aetherium is just exhibiting those traits of prema materia, since everything is made from prema materia in that cosmos. basically the same power just purple. Edit: just incase someone doesnt get what i mean, I know Prema Materia does a hell of a lot more, just meaning zombies wise it aint that different.

But the zombies in the dark aether so far, are basically powered by Aetherium, they cannot exist outside of those zones where Aetherium is, not sure if Materia holds this same thing, but 115 does not

If they continue adding chaos ideas to the dark aether storyline I will only care about it if they finish off the bo4 chaos storyline. I find the chaos crew far more interesting than what we have now and with a new story detached from 115 it could (and did) go down exciting new paths.

I don’t think so. I think the dark aether shenanigans are a direct impact of Primus’ B04 story, I don’t think the Medusa would have any knowledge of the dark aether - more like the conjunction of spheres from the Witcher

i have a theory about the ending and mwz. THe crew in bo6 does a ritual similar to the bo4 crew to go back in time. Maybe they survive and get stuck wherever they go. cuz the way they are sitting in mwz cutscene at the table dead reminds me of the bo4 crew going to ix.

​@@Dejavuimnew The spawns and gameplay flaws are a problem with BO4 as a game, not the chaos story. And the Chaos story wasn't even that bad. It just got in the way of Aether's ending & Dead of the Night being delayed rather than the first map made the chronology confusing.

I feel like them showing us the Failure timeline in MW3 Zombies was the events pre-ava being taken, i am assuming maybe even by Panos? the silhouette did seem more male in the mirror, but the hand seemed very Sam with her hoodie. I am assuming we are still on the Failure timeline, based off the songs Sam seems defeated and under someone's control at least partially by the time of Citadelle des Morts. maybe this is her hail marry plan? Edit: i guess it could be Roads too but i feel like Panos is at least story wise seemingly more likely with him being in Liberty Falls and working some some Aether Force, possibly Sam?

Man this story is so bad, I seriously wish that BO4 could have went how Blundell intended. We could have had a concluded Aether story and then got another great story with Chaos. Instead they try to backtrack on their failure and throw everything into one big universe and it’s hot garbage. 115 and Prima Materia do not belong in the same universe, this is pathetic.
