Twinpact cards were such a great boon for consistency. I've recently got back in to the game and bought a couple of JP decks to try out, and having cards that are not dead in your hand early or late game is very nice. Fixed bricking in many big creature decks types, like angel commands and dragons.

Definitely one of my favourite mechanics from recent years they've done. as they get to reuse it in any set they want

Technically that 'billion degree' pulled right at the start, 'Sapphire Wisdom' is....a english era card. At least, in spirit. I say this because it had flavor texts from or about him in those early sets. Although we didn't have em on ours.

At the timing of "I dont recognise this card, and someones gonna point out I played this card', you actually had one of the better twinpacts around. Technically you wouldnt have played the 'Perfect, Domination Elemental' that was on the twinpact, but is very similiar to the older 'Perfect Galaxy, Immortality Elemental' that was always a pain to remove in light decks

You did see a few evolution variants when you thought you did, but it was Star Evolution (the evolution source stays if the evo dies) and there was then Ultimate Evolution (you need to evolve on another evo). I wonder if the new Dragerion (SAD) would have been noticed if he had the 30k he had in DMP

Most twinpacts are Creature/spell, but there is also spell/spell.

I love to be the 'actually guy', so I'll make the brief mention that the -5000 guy 'Zombieponnosuke' actually did have a few uses, as it still did cause changes to the game stat, as its both a summon trigger and a death trigger. (So say, Mist Rias or Mongrel Man would draw from it.) There was a loop that did want your creatures to die and another card to return destroyed colorless creatures to your hand, so you could just keep drawing a bunch in a loop
