Lesbian fashion tends to be "I don't really care what I wear, simplicity is for me, this makes me looks tough (especially for butch)" type of fashion. Some femme and lipstick are very fashionable, however. As for gay fashion it tends to be more elaborated, fashionable, revealing, and... more pricy. Just like lesbian, I find that bottoms are more fashionable compare to tops that tend to prefer simplicity and casualness. That being said, I'm just strictly stereotypical. Any gay and lesbian could fall into either category but the majority seems to fall in to these patterns.
