I’m gonna buy one of these this weekend, in large part because of this excellent, totally sincere review. Thanks! As an aside, you’ve got great KZbin energy! Uniquely charismatic. I watch so many of these videos and rarely does one stand out. I’m glad I found your channel. Keep it up!

Nice RD, especially in Ice White. Very clean. I'm not sure what the dealer told you, or if you've looked up the VIN, but that's a 2012, not a 2013; the shifter assembly is pre-2013 (unless you've swapped the newer one with the older one for some reason!).

FYI, the camera signal interrupt on hot days can be resolved through the addition of a replacement camera equalizer. I'm not totally sure why they have more issues on warm days vs colder days, especially if it is an interference problem. Here's the TJ: static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10155337-9999.pdf

Get yourself a TDI tuning box and you’ll be amazing how much more power is hidden ! I have the same car and oil shouldn’t be an issue if it does you should check your engine cuz it shouldn’t drink oil at all. Gas on the other hand is not so good. With the TDI box you’ll be running close to 390hp and 400 Ft , so it has much more then what you feel stock

Lovely car and entertaining video soooo new subscribers here. From time to time I think I should have purchased a T6 cars. My wife drives a XC60 T6 and its a beast. I have the V60-CC T5 which is decently quick but not match to the t6 hammer. Her car get better mpg.

Hello Bern, thanks for the excellent videos of your experience. I'm curious, can you comment on any engine, transmission or electrical issues you've encountered in either S60? I ask because I'm considering both an S60 and Camry. I get it, Camry not quite in same class, but it's notoriously reliable. Hoping to find out what kind of maintenance and repair costs I should expect with S60 - because it's the car I really want! (Camry = boring).
@BernonCars3 жыл бұрын
In the past year, all I've had to do has been oil changes, new tires, a battery, and that's really it! The only electrical issue I've had is the smart entry for the door handles has stopped working. It's apparently common for these S60's, I got used to it. I hear it's an expensive fix.

I really want to trade in my g37x for a cheap RD or get a v60 polestar so badly they’re beautiful cars, I’ve heard that the t6 engines manufactured prior to May 4th 2011 had oil consumption issues so your 2013 should be bullet proof
@freedhwy2 жыл бұрын
I heard that the piston rings were changed way before May 2011 for the oil consumption problem.

This guy is likeable. 👍 good work in the video ! Looking at a 2015 S60 AWD T6 and just on the fence as it would be my first Volvo and just curious of reliability, repairs etc, car has 90,000km around 56,000 miles. Saw a Cadillac XTS which although is a different vehicle for around the same price and mileage t has a little more room and more up to date electronics and styling inside. Just on the fence. Both AWD v6 as well

hey how is the car holding up for you? I might be about to buy the same car and everything looks good im just worried about the upkeep costs on it... its pretty damn rare where I live, so any engine parts would be very hard to get if it breaks. like a fucking new turbo would probably cost my whole monthy salaray and them some lol.

I love it! Posting an update video soon actually. I just hit 117k.
@zaneallen84674 жыл бұрын
The T6 was never really an oil burner, and if they were, it was an early mileage problem. The T5 on the other hand, was a different story. namely in 2012

Bern Romulus hi, ok, thanks. It’s the only quality “fail” I’ve experienced. I wonder if the entire door panels have to be replaced; I havent researched it... scared of the cost, LOL!
@jasonwright25694 жыл бұрын
Hey, I stopped by Volvo this morning, to my shock, only $35 to replace the panel around the door handle! But $180 for service to do it for me. So, I want to see/research if that panel can be easily removed/popped off myself. I’m not a very “handy” person; hoping I can find some tips online. Let me know if you have any thoughts. Maybe together we can figure it out! -Jason
