I have an I phone 8 and it doesn't hold that well at all. The clip keeps coming off what ever you have clipped it to as the phone is just too heavy. Try it out before you buy, unlike me!!

Yes it does. But as you said the flexible arm is flimsy and tends to sag with the weight of the phone. Check out my other vdo for an alternative mobile arm.

It appears that you have both the SPIRAL and SMOOTH tube types. Which you you prefer? Has the spiral type become loose over time? I imagine that the spiral type would resist kinking better, have you had any problems with the smooth type? It's not easy to see which type a seller will send me so I am hoping they are both comparable.

Fahad Almusallam Really appreciate your inputs buddy. I respect your opinion. Well to clarify why I used the stand the way I used it on the video. The stand can be used in 2 different ways. 1st option is as a mobile stand where the clip/clamp holds the phone with the whole screen turned towards you so you can watch videos or just any content displayed on the screen. 2nd option is for people who think out of the box, where it can be used as a stand to take videos, with the screen turned "upside down". I never intended to use this for option 1. Maybe since I make and upload videos, my mind was more inclined towards using this as a stand for making videos, hence I choose to put the phone the way I did in the video. To answer to your doubt on whether the clip/clamp will cover part of the screen if you intend to use the stand with option 1, then the answer is no. It only covers the bezel area leaving all the screen space for your enjoyment. This is probably my longest reply to any comment so far. I am hoping this gives a logical explanation as to why I put the phone upside down :-)...
