Hi! Found your beautiful channel not so long ago, and enjoy it and your gentle company so much. I love knitting, sewing and illustrating, I was very shy in the beginning because we were always told we need to master just one thing not to look that “master of none” person. But I think we are creative persons who feels complete when we are creating, and putting cure and love and joy in what we do It’s just what that mind, and if we make those creative moment very well is just a pleasure for we to make and for who is watching. Keep up the excellent work here. 💖❤️🥰

Sincevyou brought up postage stamp quilts I put me in mind of Kate from The Last Homely House (you'll certainly recognize the Tolkien reference) who made curtains of postage stamp patterns. She used 2" squares I think and my opinion is that as the light penetrates, the seams look like stained glass lead & they are lovely. She also does English Paper Piecing, creating a quilt of hexagons that is also Monet like. Just lovely. You might enjoy a scroll through her channel, she also hand quilts some of her quilts. I must confess thatxas you spoke of quilts, I traveled back to my childhood & the lovely scrappy quilts my grandmother made us. Then rewound to come back to your video. Love your new cardigan. As it laidcflatter both the amazing color & stitch definition shows better.

Dear Nicole, I still enjoy and love your vlogmas so much. Our days are busy and the nights are not good. My short "visits" to your place far away give me both peace and energy. Yesterday I had trouble to get clothes on my three year old. You know, it is just an enterprise to put clothes on two little ones and myself to go out in the snow. And yesterday she just didn't want to put her stripey tights on. I put her in my lap, took a deep breath and started telling her: "you know, Mama knows a woman far far away and this woman has a dog called Marcel. He needs to put on clothes as well to go out. A coat and He will get stripey socks..." I kept telling and finally she was all dressed and happily outside. We built a snow lantern. When I was making dinner she came and asked: "Mama, what color does Marcel's booties have?" "Blue!" "That's good! Blue is a favorite color!" Varma hälsningar from Sweden

I love Vlogmas/Vlogtober. I feel I get to know you better, see different views of your house and where you live and your beloved Marcel. I too have been just sitting around today, knitting some pretty mitts for my friend. I hope she likes them, I'm pretty sure she will. I don't have a dog for company, but I have recently adopted a very handsome Tuxedo cat who I've called Tom. He had been a stray so he's totally fixated on food and will steal anything left out. He's not allowed outside because he tested FIV positive (the cat equivalent of HIV) so he's immunocompromised. He doesnt seem to mind though and I'm fine with it. I have no outside space as I'm in a first floor flat. But he loves to sleep on my lap and doesn't choose to play with my knitting! I can cope with him stealing sausages, chicken, and the last slice of cherry pie, but not messing with my yarn!! I've seen some videos of making tiny patchwork or appliqué pieces. I think they are lovely, something I'd like to try one day! I love sewing and knitting and I'm trying to revamp my wardrobe, do more mending and repairing, use natural products to clean my flat, cook more meals from scratch..... etc etc. It gets a bit much sometimes doesn't it?
