Having watch this again in 2022, this maybe the best deck review ever made. Quality, the editing, and the skits that have multiple characters. The amount of time that went into this for deck reviews is insane. The Gentleman is needed in our community. There's channels that have been running for years who puts nothing close to this effort or hasn't changed their quality in years and years. Tell me I'm not the only one who actually misses his uploads.

I was there in the chats, when this primeired but had to go just before the last review and I already thought this was your best review as yet. Little did I know that I am the winner of a giveaway as well. 30mins after the primeir just found out the pleasant surprise. Thank you. That Stockholm 17 deck would be the most rare deck that I would have

Good to see you back and with an awesome video. The jump cut on the card back to the cards in hand was a nice touch. Who else was expecting a blooper reel from the skit stuff at the end of the video? True 80's style.

Awesome! Well worth the wait! As far as the skits, the comic book shop "guy" and the magician's assistant were cracking me up the most. lol As far as the cards, the 80's musicians deck was the one I thought looked the best. I am going to look for it as soon as I finish typing this. Keep up the good work!

Yay!!! We get both the Gentleman Wake AND the Lady Wake in hilarious sketches!!! I feel like a little kid, but I just want to chant “more! More! More!”’And I don’t know why you’d even have to ask: yes please to more hilarious sketch team ups!!! Please! Those were amazing! I was born in 1984, so apparently I’m a millennial, I don’t think that’s true and until I have scientific evidence, I’m claiming I’m gen x! That and all of my “favorite” movies were whatever my cool older cousin Christie-also a 70s child-said they were...(it all worked it because she introduced me to great music like the violent femmes, ani difranco, Led Zeppelin, and America’s “horse with no name” as well as movies/clips like Monty Python, specifically the Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but also Monty Python’s the flying circus, yay dry/weird British comedy!) ”Favorite 80s” movies you already mentioned a few: my #3 favorite goes to “The Breakfast Club”, #2 goes to the incredibly hilarious trio of Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton, & Jane Fonda in “9 to 5”, but my number #1 is without a doubt EVERY SINGLE Indiana Jones movie ever (yes, even “the crystal skull”, I’m that much of a fan and I STILL want to be Dr. Indy Jones when I “grow up”, I even majored in Anthropology with a minor in African Studies as a direct result of those movies & wanting to see/be female Dr. Jones; and speaking of Indie/Harrison Ford, can’t forget “Blade Runner” or “Witness” or, obviously “Star Wars” never liked Luke, always a Chewie & Han Solo fan...which explains why there’s a large furry dog taking over 3/4s of my bed as I write this...) followed closely by “Heathers” (Heathers makes the #4 slot), then in really no particular order “Die Hard” (I lied, “Die Hard is above “Heathers” so just move the rest down from “Die Hard” then “Heathers”), “Lethal Weapon”, “Footloose”, “Dirty Dancing”, “Uncle Buck”, “The Thing”,“Ghostbusters” (1&2), “Nightmare on Elm Street”, and i have to say, I’m also a big fan of most if not all of the “Alien” movies although I i just checked and “Alien”, the first one was in 1979, but there were enough “Alien” movies w/ original Sigourney Weaver that were made well into the 80s and even the early “aughts” of 2000, so it should count. I was also going to list “Sister Act 1&2”/“Eddie”/“Corrina, Corrina”/“Sarafina!”, but all of those, while amazing, we’re surprisingly 90s territory...so I can only technically count “Ghost” to this unnecessarily long list of my favorite 80s movies as a huge Whoopi Goldberg fan-yeah yeah, she wasn’t technically the lead in “Ghost”, but she stole every scene she was in!-there’s also “Her Alibi” with Tom Selleck that’s a great ridiculous underrated movie, and of course, it wouldn’t be a real 80s list if you left out these major three movies: “Labyrinth”, “Weird Science” or “Revenge of the Nerds” (both the original and my personal favorite of the franchise “Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise” because it was so bad it was good!) sorry/not sorry that was so long but quarantine messes with my already lacking ability to self edit. I do have one question though: how the heck do you and the lady wake still look attractive when we’ve all been in quarantine for so long I can’t remember what a hairdresser is anymore... stop making the rest of us look bad guys!!! (I feel too weird saying your real names because technically I’ve never met you even though you both pop into various rooms in my house while I’m watching either one if your channels, so I’m sticking with the gentleman and the lady wake, if that’s cool with the two of you!) love and well wishes from Rydal, PA (not like “Rydel High in Grease” but rather like the boring suburb of Philadelphia, PA)❤️&🙏for the laughs and joy! Stay safe and be well, Hillary😊

When I first saw the Kings Wild VHS tuck box I thought these would be perfect. Checking the back of the cards confirmed my impression. But then seeing the faces... I just don’t like it at all. The tuck and backs are classy. The faces are a 80’s cliché and it totally ruins the whole thing for me 😢

That 8bit deck is quite disappointing. Not fully stylized, missing key elements (bike rider on the back). Pixel art is so-so. Also, pixel art ≠ PS pixelize filter, come on. Other decks are great. And that M in Jocks deck also doubles as W (just like the initials, M.W.).
