By far the best Rubenstein's tutorial I've seen. Great work, man.

Man, this is the absolute BEST tutorial on rubenstein's revenge ever. I'd been toying with it for a while, able to do 2 balls, but could never figure out how to get the third one in. 5 minutes after watching your vid it just fit right in. Thanks dude!

I learned this trick from this video over 5 years ago, I love this trick! Great tutorials! I refer people to your videos often. Show us some more new tricks! I bet you have progressed a lot:)

By far the best explained tutorial of Rubenstein's revenge (I'm only concentrating on that for now!). Your step-by-step method was really helpful and made it easy for me to understand. I almost gave up learning this trick so thank you for saving me! Please keep it up; I'll be using your tutorials from now on.

Hey Guillaume, I've had this video pulled up in a tab for the last week, trying to work out each piece of Rubeinstein's, and today I finally brought it all together. Thanks a ton for this video. As you intended, it was the only resource I used to learn the trick.
@thegnome548 жыл бұрын
Hey Bill, so glad you were able to learn from this! Making these videos has been pretty magical - now I've always got copies of me out there sharing with people even when I can't myself. It's cool to hear that they're still being useful =) Let me know if you have any requests for other tricks! All my best and happy juggling.

dude, I can't thank you enough!!! such a wonderful tutorial! the extra time you took to fully explain the 2-ball version of Rubenstein's is EXACTLY what I needed. It seems so simple all of a sudden! I don't know why this trick tormented me for so long, I have almost got it! I practiced the 2-ball excercise and it's starting to make sense. I'll let you know when I finally get the full 3ball Rubensteins! thanks again man!

Thanks so much for posting this! As with many of your tutorials, it is clear and simple to follow the steps. Rubenstein's Revenge is a lot of fun to work on, especially getting the two balls to smoothly follow behind each other.

This is by far the best rubensteins tutorial out there. Sub'd....I just took a huge step closr to getting it, thanks to the wonderful breakdown of the 2 in the middle as thegoheads pointed out.

Tip for anyone wanting to learn this trick, i've been messing around with variations of burke's barrage for a while and i realized if you add another spin in there you've basically got rubensteins! Going from Burke's Barrage which is relatively easy to learn, if you've got mills mess and tkeouts down, Rubenstein is a piece of cake!

this is a great tutorial! perfect explaination of the two ball motion! and i love the glow balls! what kind are they?
@hailjigglypuff47716 жыл бұрын
That was more than enough information. Thank you! It's funny how when you try to show somebody how difficult a trick is for you but then you wind up doing it effortlessly like you just did at around 5:21. Muscle memory is such a crazy powerful instrument and we barely know when it's kicking in! Sometimes this happens to me when I try to show someone three in a hand or five ball cascade and then I go 2-3 times longer than I normally do, but usually after constant drops...

thanks so much again! you break down your tutorials in a much simpler way I tried to learn the boston mess and other tricks with other tutorials and I got confused but u make everything much clearer!

Learnt both tricks from this- good video, especially the bit in the dark was very useful. I prefer Rubenstein's to Romeo's, and I find it easier.

Thank you for this tutorial. Though I find that the hype this trick is getting is mislaid people shouldn't say it's really hard because that's what stopped me from learning it . I was so worried that I wouldn't get it right that I kept outing off learning it but then I bit the bullet and learnt it ..... So glad that I did though

hmm, the difference in difficulty between romeo and rubenstein would be the ease of the middle two balls. the pattern looks easier in romeo, but i suppose the jerkiness could outweigh it. i'd have to try both before deciding which to focus on first
@Zuntyh15 жыл бұрын
I can do Rubenstein's sort of. But I'm stuck in a habit, I actually thought I could do it but looking over this video I was wrong. Instead of having a U ball, that ball only goes up one side, I think I need to force myself to throw and extra one on each side or something, Hard to learn and maybe more difficult to try and break out of that habit.
@aos-archive16 жыл бұрын
with the romeo, exclude the last ball in this equtaion, i have a question. lets say i have ball A and B,ball a in meft left and B in my right, i start off with my left arm over my right,so when i do all that cross over part and reverse it all and the tossing, is ball B suppose to return back to my right hand?

@thegnome54 im not trying to be rude, hateful, or disrespectful, you actually are a very good teacher. it's just that this particular video isnt your best work. i DO understand that this a difficult trick, and that giving a tutorial for it is very difficult, i just dont think that you went about it the best way. But thats just me and my opinion. great videos, im learning from them, this one just didnt work for me, but keep up the good work!

@WhiteTiger7789 Well I watched ashomsky's video and honestly, it was one of -his- worst. I learned this pattern after watching thegnome's videos, and I tried them all. As he said, we all learn in different ways. But coming onto forums and posting comments like yours -are- useless. You think someone can't make up their minds for themselves? That I'd actually not watch the video 'cause you said not to'?? Ah what the hell. Just go juggle. That's what I'm gonna do :)

actually, your making rubensteins revenge much harder than it really is. if you watch ashomskys video, he makes it really easy. srry dude, but some of your tuts arent very good. this one happens to be one of them.
@hailjigglypuff47716 жыл бұрын
How can he make it any better? Many people seem to be learning from this video, including myself. Maybe his teaching style just doesn't work for you. It's not the quality of his teaching that's the problem.
