This truck is definitely a great bang for the buck. GM doesn't even offer a pano roof in this price range. The feature I love the most is the fully lowering rear window (fun for the kiddos). I would hope that some of the high end materials or electronics would be similar to what's in the Lexus.

It's a really awesome truck, but no bumper steps in the back and no tow hooks in the front, HUGE omission Toyota, and not enough tie downs in the bed, thats said, I'm still looking into one, because it's a Toyota

They updated a lot of things, but I think the gauge cluster is a bit disappointing, considering how nice the cluster is in say, something like the supra.

Nice truck, however, I'll wait a few years before purchasing. As with any all new model, this truck has been having a ton of problems with the turbo wastegate. It requires removing the entire engine or removing the entire body of the truck to fix. Already lots of customers demanding their money back from Toyota as Toyota says parts to fix the problem are unavailable for at least 30 days.

Blind spot is not standard on the limited also if you get trd off-road it’s not available. At least that’s what the website says. Also you can’t just add this and that they make it hard to get the truck you really want pre built trucks only

I’m sure it’s mechanically solid, since it is a Toyota. But I am having a very tough time with the styling. There are design elements that remind me of the 1980s. Do you think they were going for a retro?

The dealership I went to had a test drive model set up with a 3500lb trailer hitched to it. Felt like a 4 cylinder pulling a Boulder. 👀🙄 I'll stick with my supercharged 2016 tundra trd pro.

The turbos have substantially more low end and mid torque curve, then the NA v8. I can pull 3500lbs with my ford 2.7, and not even notice it is there hardly. Either you are lying, or not knowledgeable about the motors. There is no way a 2022 tundra 3.5 felt like a 4 cylinder with 3500lbs.

Major problems occuring in the last few days with the turbo waste gates. Needs a full cab removal to repair. Was previously interested in purchasing one, but now I wouldn't touch this truck with a 10' pole. Toyota reliability GONE!

Malfunction of the wastegate is a major problem? It's a small part, however labor is more extensive. Some small things require a lot to get to. Major exaggerating thinking on your part.

@@FuJiNF It's a major problem when you have to remove the entire frame from the cab to repair it and also disconnect every hose and wire (over 150). If it were my car I wouldn't want it back, no way they will put it back together correctly and that'll it drive the same after that. If every minor repair needs the cab removed from the frame then I don't want this truck.

As a long time Tundra owner I'm appalled at the front end styling..I mean really? Looks like a 16 year old dreaming about transformers. I'll keep the 15 thanks you very much...what a compete disaster.
