I have a problem with stuff I might "need" one day. Recipes I printed from the internet, craft project instructions that sound like something I want to make someday, legal documents that I signed and am afraid to get rid of because "a question may come up one day concerning that legal transaction" (but probably won't). I am buried in paper, I feel like I am drowning in it!😭

My husband has been handling our finances and “filing” for years. I started working from home and decided to take over the office and family paperwork at the same time. Oh my! It is a disaster, bless his heart! I’m going to have to watch all your videos to motivate me to tackle this mess. Thanks for being so thorough and transparent. Love your videos!

Went straight to the kids' paper organizing video....YES!! I have one 22 year old son. He is a musician and I have started a box that contains his school papers, music programs, etc. What I loved was putting the papers in the binders in page protectors. That is the thing I was missing....THANK YOU!! Now I am excited to work on this box again.

I do the exact same incoming papers that you do. I have the exact categories too. It works great especially with all the mail, receipts and school papers coming in every day.

At the beginning of every year is usually when I go through my entire file cabinet and shred all of the statements over 12 months, make new folders that are needed, put long term documents into long term catagory. Buttttt I'm guilty of not giving much more than a thought this year. I need to get busy! 😄

Great video! When I KonMari my paperwork a couple of years ago I couldn't believe the unnecessary paperwork I had been holding on to and MOVING twice. It felt good to get rid it.

I’d love to seen the medical folder and emergency one what you put InThere. I’m finding this interesting. I did this a couple of years ago but I know it needs to be updated. And once my parents move out of my place I. 3 week and my son goes back to school I’m going to start.

Hi. I am a new subscriber. I very much enjoyed this video. I have never seen or heard another video like this. You must have been reading my mind bc the papers i have I have had for a very long time and the pile keeps growing! Well piles keep growing!😵😵 Thank you for doing this so now I feel like I can go through it and maybe manage some of it but its still so overwhelming. The hardest part is a filing system. I don't have room for filing drawers. I live in a apartment not much room. I know you had the one you hang on the wall but I don't want like multiple ones hanging on the wall. Att I keep one bill a year then shredd the rest Too much paperwork people should not have to save that. Once its paid. Unless its changed or in some type of court case
