I find these boards aggressive if your feeling tired and getting a bit sloppy at the end of the day. But its alot of fun for first part of the day.

When I demo'd the board in whistler I found myself not loving it. Except when Ollie'ing off kickers. It boosts. But nothing over exceptional, would compare the boost to Max Warbington finest gnu boards. Did extremely well in mash potatoes and slush though, which is unique for capita boards of late. I find personally the twinpig and Greats uninc have more to offer in this kind of profile. Have a Lagos double barrel coming in to try. Wondering if it will be comparable.

I use to love my 23, rips a carve hard, big pop, super fast still ok to flex the tips. Benchwarmer just does most better except the base.

Thanks for your take and I agree with most of this review. Just got this board and rode it twice and used my atlas with it. Was wondering if I’m missing out with the bindings part of it. I was thinking about snagging the ultras or the new force for the SDOA. Or is the atlas just fine? I have the beyond medals edition for it. Would the ultra or the force outshine the atlas for this board? I ride resort and hit all the side hits and little kickers and do take it to the park but more on the jump line aspect of the park.

I haven’t put these on the super doa yet but they feel amazing on the mega merc fwiw. Two days on the mega and i dont want to ride any other binding honestly. I think the atlas are also good on the merc but the ultras, for me, were better by far. Ive put my atlas on the dart for good, which to me is the kind of stiff board the atlas are great for.

@ yeah I used the falcors with my mega Merc and they just match up so well. I can’t explain it.. I found a really good deal on eBay for ultras to put into the SDOA but I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra cash if I already have the atlas in hand to use..

Might sell it to get the ultra haha

Hi, Please help me to select board. I am thinking about Burton custom flying v, against Lib Tech terrain wrecker and GNU antigravity.

This review makes me regret getting this baord. I haven’t got on it yet but not really looking forward to it anymore. Sounds like your saying it’s not good for anything but jumps. It’s catchy, not for carving, base grind feels like it’s holding you back (ive never heard that mentioned or experienced that on any Capita board with the same base tune), not good on hard pack. THis just seemed like a negative review sheesh lol. A good addition to the quiver but didnt really hear any great reasons as to why. Thanks though

The super doa is a jump board.

@ Is that all it excels at? If you’ve tired a mega merc, how much different is the ride?

Like I said in the review, it has incredible pop for ollies/jumps and it's a very good ultralight twin. Also, no, I'm not saying that it's only good for jumps. It's a fun ultralight mtn freestyle twin. The base is super fast. You just need to get a lot of wax in those grooves. I think it's negative to you based on what you are looking for, but it could be positive to others. So I need to know what you want out of a board and then I can say if you made a bad choice or not. If you want to do this right, hit me here to give me the info I need to help you much better. shop.thegoodride.com/merchandise/gear-advice/

@@STAyTHIrstyMyFREindYeah, I've tried and often compared almost every board in Capita's line. So, to give you proper help, you need to tell me what you want in your next board first, and then I can better compare. The Mega Merc feels wider for its size, more stable, more forgiving, butters easier, and has more float. The Super DOA initiates a turn faster and has more pop if you engage those flat sections in the camber profile. I like how it carves a little better than the Mega Merc.

Wait... so its not really good for anything?
@dootdoot186710 күн бұрын
It's great at jump lines. Spring laps. Mt hood timberline in July. Etc.

@mariankowalski9797 Huh? It's a very good well rounded board. Especially for an Ultralight. Just not good in pow.
