He's the comedic element of a morning radio talk show in Dallas. Honestly, I think the only reason he hasn't moved on to the national stage is that he's happy with where he's at. He certainly has the talent to go national. The other thing is that he essentially works 22.5 hrs a week & has the rest of his time to pursue his other interests, like doing these interviews on weekends, or writing his column for the Dallas Morning News. He also toys around with playing in a band from time to time. If he were on a national comic, he likely wouldn't have that type of freedom & flexibility.

This is one of the best interviews ever. Interesting to see Will Ferrel's reaction to some of Keith's best moves -ie. "...using hand gestures" Will gets it right away. He keeps it up with Gordon but Gordon is able to keep one upping him with clever random questions that throws him off guard.
