Yep, I graduated college last year. To apply for graduation I paid $60 for cap and gown, $40 for the physical diploma, and $15 for the transcript to be mailed. At least we got two free professional photos and a fireworks celebration with that tuition money.

@@potato1084 Yep pretty much. 🤣 At least my college required you to complete a graduation requirements class to officially graduate which included requirements of buying the gear for your graduation. You may have been able to fill out the form and just not give a payment method though so you may still be able to escape that way but then you definitely will not receive the physical diploma, nor have a ceremony, nor receive your official transcript.

My high school made me pay for my cap and gown to graduate too. No, I didn’t mistype I said high school. I absolutely refused my mom ended up paying for it. I didn’t get senior portraits or anything because again I refused to pay for them. Yes, US high schools make students pay to graduate. It’s so dumb

Regarding the offpeak hours. If your have solar panels. It’s actually better to do everything during te day (when it’s sunny) to use the electricity. On off peak hours you still pay more then what you get paid during the day! Just a tip for everyone 🌞

Wow, that's not bad at all! Compared to a lot of other people who do these ''what i spend'' videos (not judging tho - if you earn more than you spend go for it), she's not doing bad at all. And I agree with you Graham, spending money on your health is so worth it. I used to go to a regular cheap gym, and now I pay like 3 x the amount on a crossfit gym membership and I've never been so motivated and healthy 🥳

$90 for cap and gown sounds fantastic, in Australia it's $150. You have to purchase your graduation ticket, hire your cap and gown, and then photos are separately ($45 each for digital copies).

I have a bachelors and I'm working on an MBA, neither involve graduation ceremony; it's not a major fee. If I could do it all over again, I can't say for sure. I'd love to start at 18 with the money I have now, the arms I had then; and lipo.

Big agree on it being crazy to have to pay for cap and gown. As a photographer though $150 is really reasonable for grad photos! You definitely don’t get the same outcome with phone photos.

Applying to graduate is a requirement to get your diploma. Attending the ceremony is optional and free except for the cap and gown.

I was going to just leave it when they said it was $7, so one of my teachers was there she was upset they were charging for it and paid it for me and another student. I don’t see the peak electricity hours as an option. Typically evenings after 7 p.m. and all day Saturday/Sunday is the cheapest rate, so I try not to use any of it before then. Unplug everything I can (e.g. things that aren’t appliances, my computer charger, etc.) and then wait as close as I can til 7 p.m. Also build my night routine around it.

Yup they stick it to you at Graduation. I didn't even go to graduation for my Masters degree. Wasn't a kid and didn't see the point. Keegan seems to be doing well though. Good for her that she doesn't have a car payment. Also good that she pays for the insurance in advance. We get a discount to pay in advance from our insurance company. Would have loved to hear what her degree is in. Would love to hear if the cost of school going to be worth the income that the field she enters pays.

My graduation is literally $120 plus my student debt. They give you no choice but to pay for the photographer even if you don’t want there photos. Than if you want the photos they take you pay.

For the none ultra wealthy dedicated photographers are a waste of money. Kinda like going to the movies instead of paying to buy the streaming service to just watch it over and over. Modern tech is making a lot of Buisness models no longer make sense. iPhone pictures look fine.

Her car looks like it's probably a BMW X3 or X5, might be an M series too. I'm a valet at the nicest hotel in my city and drive them all the time. A regular X3 starts at around $45k and if it's an X5 M50i (which I highly doubt) then it could cost around $100k new. My guess is it's probably just a regular X3, but either way, I'm not sure how she paid off a car like that by the time she graduated college. How long has she been big on KZbin?? She would have had to been making that kind of money for at least 3-4 years already. My guess is she had a bit of help with a sizable down payment at least. Either way she seems pretty responsible and independent for the most part. Good video Graham
