There was a no knock warrant, but the cops knocked. Breonna appears to have been in the house when boy friend opened fire on the cops. Sorry she was killed, but not racially motivated. What was the warrant for? Was the gun used to fire the first shot legally acquired? Why would the police knock for a no knock warrant? The purpose of a no knock warrant is to surprise the criminals so they don’t have time to grab weapons and shoot (which is exactly what happened). Should the cops not have shot back after being shot at???????? They have a family too. Maybe people shouldn’t be involved in certain activities if they don’t want to deal with the police? Questions you should ask yourself before burning things down.

The lady was complaining about falsehoods and myths being spread around the internet, but she herself has no problems doing just that. For example: In one of her first answers to Marc`s question she talked about the couple repeatedly shouting "Who is there?" or "Who is it?" when the squad team knocked on their door repeatedly, but they didn`t answer. As far as I know the police officers involved said quite the reverse, they did shout "POLICE." loudly and clearly and repeatedly. So, why did the lady not even mention that contrary testimony, in other words making us believe that the version of the arrested man is an undisputed fact, that the police didnt identify themselves while knocking. Another thing I noticed: According to statements of ex-police officers or other members of law inforcement who run popular, well-frequented channels on youtube, a "no-knock-warrant" is nothing that is easily granted by a judge. There must be CLEAR EVIDENCE that the location subject to this "no-knock-warrant" is used as a place where crime is commited respectively criminal activity takes place. There wouldn`t be such a warrant only on the base of, for example, Mrs. Taylor being previously the girlfriend of a drug dealer or Mrs. Taylor had received a paket of unknown content from this drug dealer (or whatever the story of this paket is, I don`t know it). Without clear evidence of criminal activity no "no-knock-warrant" - this is what I have learnt. The lady in this video should know about it herself but didn`t mention it. Last but not least I would like to say this: As a German man living in Spain and having spent several months per year in the US between 2010 and 2015, I am shocked on how contaminated and poisoned the atmosphere of the society has become and how hostile and aggressive the political discussion is done these things. The ammount of lies, "half-truths", hear-sayings sold as facts etc.pp. is skyrocketing. People don`t seem to switch-on the ratio anymore when it comes to controversial disputes. People don`t take the time to properly collect informations on cases BEFORE they post their judgements online. It seems to be a reflex these days to immediately jump to a conclusion - mostly the one that fits the personal political agenda, without thinking, collecting information, waiting some time until more details are known. I truly hope the American society can go back to the times when your political counterpart was not the enemy that needs to be "destroyed" but the opponent who you discuss with and who you are trying to persuade with facts and arguments. But honestly I am very pessimistic that we will see these times again.

Your whole explanation plays on Breanna being a real victim here because all he boyfriend tried to do was murder a police officer and then claim he thought it was a burglar. Reading the above it wouldnt matter at all who was black or white. They could all be black or all white and it wouldnt change any of the facts of what happened but you need this to be about race, it has to be able race for it to fit in with the story. Its only then do you get what you want.

Interesting tactic. Sprinkle in a few facts that fly in the face of the general narrative so you seem credible, but continue to spin the story to suit YOUR narrative..i.e. black people have to be perfect to garner any sympathy, Breonna Taylor was completely innocent, illegal warrant, etc etc etc. This video didn't age well as you can see. Ruled justified by the DA, Breonna Taylor was not innocent, there is documented proof she was involved in drug activity, independent witness testified that the police knocked AND announced prior to entry, etc etc etc. So sick of the continued assault on our police officers...2 of which were shot last night in riots by the way. Where's the sympathy for them?

It would be helpful if you guys just focused on the facts. Are raids like this legal? Are there body cams? Can we be sure the officiers did not identify themselves before the boyfriend started firing? If the boyfriend started firing first after the officiers identified themselves, then that changes the story. If they did not and just barged in, then yeah, I think the boyfriend defending his property was justified. Does anyone have have all the facts and data?

Why is everyone saying she was involved with a drug dealer? Let’s be clear, a “no knock warrant” this is wrong in so many level. 2. Negligence, at night in an apartment community too many apartments to not think about if anything goes wrong. Why at night and not in the day? Someone startled you out your sleep door knocked down not knowing it is the police. She’s not here to defend herself. This was an ex boyfriend who knows why the relationship ended. We don’t know. But what if she found out he was a drug dealer and that’s why she ended the relationship. We don’t know and we cannot continue to keep flip flopping on the facts. Until it happens to you or someone close to you then you will never understand. The ex boyfriend was already in custody at the time the “ No knock warrant” was granted. Too many what if that could go wrong. The law should be changed.

People said that she was shot while she was in bed. That's lie #1. They did not get the wrong house. Lie #2. Might switch lie #1 with #2. She had no criminal history, she is innocent. Lie#3. I have a clean criminal history, but definitely not a clean history. I would argue that she should get shot if she's running at police with a knife. Clearly they still had a relationship, friendship or whatever, but you can't be mad when you get played by game.

Okay so first you're not bringing up the fact that she had a f****** body in the trunk of her rental car. II you're not bringing up the fact that she had gone strapped to her that were illegal. 3rd and I'm talking about the fact that she was deep in selling drugs which shows based on one her text messages and iMessages online to both Walker the boyfriend who had a legal gun and Shop please and the ex-boyfriend who was a full-blown drug dealer and was arrested by police. Just because they didn't find drugs at her house doesn't mean she wasn't selling drugs. Her boyfriend also had a residency and that has yet to be investigated however I will say this that he is known to be a drug dealer on the streets. Not to mention again there are tons of messages that show him back and forth trying to sell drugs this is the new boyfriend the one that shot cops. Also he put breonna Taylor in front of him so he was using her as a shield also also Marc Lamont Hill is Alexis a****** he is biased why don't you use a real lawyer who is not doing this from a biased perspective? And why don't you bring up the real facts not the version you have the actual facts of the case this is speculation this entire video was speculation. They have not released all the information and yet you're making an assumption about what happened. That's b******* and you are lying to people. I'm not saying she deserve to die but I am saying one she wasn't trying to be an EMT anymore because she got kicked out for months in to the EMT training because there was a body in her rental car you f****** idiots. Stop lying to people stop inciting violence stop trying to make everything about race you were making the problem worse if you want to come versation let's have it let's go come on you guys are too f****** scared to have the goddamn conversation we have been asking for it for years conservatives are not racist conservatives have been begging you guys for a conversation I will applaud Marc Lamont Hill for going on Candace Owens Show and actually doing so. He actually did have a conversation and it was quite Pleasant one I don't agree with him at all but I appreciate that he actually had a conversation now why don't you guys try it you guys try to have a conversation maybe then your mind will open and you'll go holyshit my entire worldview is based on a f****** lie you believe the whole world is racist you believe the whole country is racist you believe Trump is racist all lies. There are literally videos out there that show 20 times were Trump condemned white supremacy yet y'all keep repeating this f****** lie over and over again and Trump has done more for the black community than any president in US history and has completely turned the black community around to some degree. Covid-19 and it killed us all it's not just the black community suffering we are all suffering all of us. and if you want to have a conversation about suffering and how horrible it is to be blacked bring it on b**** I swear to God any one of you want to come at me I will beat your ass with my sob story. I was a f****** actual slave from H3 to h-12 sex slave b**** I had multiple reconstructive surgeries both of my vagina what you've been torn apart because I was three when it started and my perforated intestines because I almost died repeatedly because big / so so hard they perforated my f****** intestines not to mention damage my internal organs and all my reproductive female organs down below caused such problems that I can no longer get pregnant. And that's just scratching the surface I'm not even partly covering what I've been through that's like one tenth of 1% of what I've been through. So I don't want to f****** hear your sob story bring it on stop being racist stop making things about race you guys are acting like racists we're not and I'm mad about it I almost all my friends going up or black owned I know that's like the Trope but think about it like this the entire black community in which I grew up in which we're a lot of dealers a lot of crime all loved me and accepted me as one of their snots mention I mix I'm not white I look white but I'm not. So if you really want to try and act like I'm some racist I don't give a fuk think whatever you want but how about have a civil discourse but you can't do that can you because you can't support your actual arguments truth matters and you're not telling it you're lying and I can prove it but you have to have a civil discourse for that to happen

>> Breonna Taylor was NOT shot while sleeping in her bed, she was awake, in her hallway. She was NOT an EMT at the time of her death; she was forced to quit YEARS ago, because a dead body was found in a car rented under her name; the victim was an "associate" of her drug dealing boyfriend. Even though a "no-knock" warrant WAS issued, the officers DID knock. Her neighbors testified under oath, that the police announced themselves BEFORE trying to enter her apartment. Her boyfriend shot a cop, BEFORE police fired their first round. She was STILL aiding and abetting her previous boyfriend's drug dealing operation; she and her car were surveilled delivering drugs to his "trap house" on numerous occasions. She was STILL stashing his drug money at her house. Her address was on record as being his current address on bank records. Her ex-boyfriend blamed her at-the-time boyfriend for her death, NOT the police. >> >> For the uneducated and willfully ignorant: It was NOT the DA who determined the police officers should not be indicted, it was a GRAND JURY, the most impartial of all arbiters. Her address and vehicle WERE on the warrant. The Left and media HAVE been lying to you! It's unfortunate that she was shot and died, but the police did NOTHING wrong. If people want to BLM(Burn, Loot, Murder) over the grand jury's decision, apply the law to THEM. Breonna was involved with, and profiting from drug trafficking. Blame her, her boyfriend or her ex-boyfriend for her death, NOT the police.

The grand jury declined to prosecute for the death of Taylor, even with immense pressure outside the case. That sounds like the justice system worked, unless there's some reason not to believe that. The only thing I think I am completely certain of is that if police officers are fired on, they have the right to fire back with deadly force. I do not believe there is another more important fact of this particular case, despite all the other tragedy involved. Once shots are fired at the police, for whatever reason, they have the right to kill and neutralize that threat. With that said, RIP Breonna Taylor.
@alizen987

To the posts disregarding this senseless loss...It doesn't matter if she dated a drug dealer. No one in her apartment was under suspicion for anything that warranted breaking her door down. The shots fired of course would prompt police to return shots, but do you think they would have gone after some suburban woman who used to date a white collar embezzler with an ax to the door? Regardless of drug offenses, no one deserves to be murdered by police. That being said, stop trashing her character. She was working in an ER during a pandemic. She was a young person working in health care with a troubled ex boyfriend, not a dangerous criminal. This was a tragic, avoidable death. If she was your sister or friend you would be outraged. And the justice system is factually, historically, and presently racist and classist.

There is one huge misconseption either by accident or by intention abotu shotting general. There is absolutely no prosedure to fire just one shot contrary to unloading. Even if she was running with a knife, one bullet does not stop normal person right away. Even if you are mortally wounded you ca nstill fight for seconds or minutes before you bleed out. this is whether you are alowed t ofire or not and once you are alowed to shoot you shoot for as long the person is standing. Specially when you yourself got shot which the policeman firing was.

Can you provide more depth from a legal perspective? I worry about the precedent this sets. Put yourself in a situation more familiar to conservatives. You take your daughter to a gun store, and talk with the shop owner about buying her a .22lr target rifle. Previously, this shop owner traded a gun with you, which was in violation of an obscure gun ordinance. You were skeptical, but took the owner’s word on the legality. An undercover police officer comes in the store to execute a search warrant based on 922r violations. The shop owner draws his sidearm, shoots at the officer hitting him in the leg, and the officer returns fire, striking your daughter. What is your reaction? The public might say you and your daughter were “associating with a criminal and had a previous criminal record”, “it was an unfortunate accident”, or maybe, “He shot at police! What do you think was going to happen?”. Also, you garner little support from your fellow gun owners because last year your daughter was charged and convicted of criminal speeding, going 36mph in a school zone. Do you sue "the government"? Congratulations! The government does not have money. The taxpayers (you and your neighbors) now have to pay $34 million to settle your case. Your daughter is still gone, and the taxes in the general fund that were earmarked for a trauma center are now being used to pay your settlement. Do you demand the police officer be incarcerated? Congratulations! The police response time has now doubled. Looks like you’ll have to pay a $6000 deductible for your broken leg from the hit and run because the police didn’t catch the driver of the vehicle speeding off, despite getting the license plate number. How about suing the shop owner or gun manufacturers? You will not get sympathy from your fellow gun owners.

They got with the USPS and made sure who's house it was and that she gets packages often. They knew she had ties to him, and it wasn't because they dated years ago. As far as MLH saying just because she could have been running at the cops with a knife, doesn't mean she needs to get shot times... that is ridiculous and hysterical that you, someone who supposedly knows the law, cops can and will eliminate the threat and it is legal for them to do so.
