Love damon. He's as real as he is and has always been and always will, humble and grounded, yet still uncomfortable with himself as he is ready to defend his genius (by no more than using candleflame to beacon towards those havent realised his talent) true. human. down to earth, funny, engaging and brilliant. normal yet embarrassed about his brilliance

His music is unique and beautiful. And his lovely Mancunian accent. He’s remained genuine and authentic.

I really like Badly Drawn Boy, I went to see him in Glasgow, he was good but he kept forgetting the words to his song, one song he had to start 3 times then someone Brought out the sheet music. but once he was started he was good!

The fact that he mentioned Guided By Voices has persuaded me to go and buy all his albums! Anyone who likes GBV has good taste!

Just think how T Rex felt when their only big song in the US was 'Bang a Gong'.
